ugh I went deep into the 15k GTD on party....only to bust in like 60th place AA<JJ all in preflop...We were kinda bigger stacks too.
Just ONCE Id like to final table something like that...And here is a 40/0/3 as chip leader

So because of the fact you multi table more then 4 you aren't playing poker?

If it was a discussion it would have been: Playing multi-tabling isn't playing poker but clicking buttons

This more sounds like people who can't play more then 4 tables

Limit hold em is a much faster paced game then NL, they just suck and cant multi table obv.

(I'm guessing) you'd have to pay way more attention in limit than in no limit. You have less information to base your decisions on and have to use betting patterns, board texture, position, and player tendencies to save yourself a bet; you can't just keep calling down with second pair because "oh well, it's just one bet, and I'm getting awesome pot odds," since, while you won't lose that much per hand, you also won't win that much either.

I think they also play a (much?) higher VPIP and there's (much?) more showdowns. A RL friend of mine plays shorthanded limit at 1/2 or 2/4, and plays 3-4 tables.

Ya with limit you have to play a lot more pots than you would at NL. I play just about every pot and super lag tard when I play limit, of course I play 6 max LHE when I play it.

I made a short post last year saying that if I play more than 3 or 4 tables I feel like it is more like that old video game "missile command," than playing poker.

I'm up to 12 tables now, but it does feel less like "real poker" to me to be playing so many.

I can't wait to go back to Vegas live poker after 12 tabling for a year; lol, maybe I'll bring a lap top and grind FT from the table at the casino.

I love social physcology, in the casino i saw a big difference in people playing limit and no limt. People playing limit where looking a bit geeky, no limit players looked like they where the cool guys from high school
