Dear poker Gods!

Would it be to much to ask that you reward my 14 outs against something other than a SS, one time, one ****ing time!

Had a hand like that tonight. Thought of just shoving the flop as I didn't wanna have to face a difficult decision on the turn. As it turns out I just raised and then screwed up my turn decision

Just thinking about the hand actually. I think a flop raise to around $25 is possibly best.
12-02-2009 , 06:13 PM
Same here except I had AJs

Villain had TT in my case too
12-02-2009 , 06:15 PM
I like the small raise because it can induce worse draws to shove over the top
12-02-2009 , 06:16 PM
Don't you think the smaller raise puts you in more awkward turn spots though? Larger raise prices you in for any turn shoves.

You have position and its fairly unlikely villain is going to donk the turn because why would he not 3bet a super wet flop.

Fair point. I'm prob being results orientated because my exact thought process on the flop was.....What am I gonna do if I miss on the turn and he bets? And then he did obv. Realise that most times this isn't gonna be the case.
