Plus Stars rakes 5 cent per dollar whereas full tilt rakes 1 cent per 20 cent at these stakes. Playing NL10 or below at FTP instead of Stars is suicide iyam.

Does any one know an easy way to combine notes from 2 computers? I play on my laptop and desktop a lot and want to combine the notes.

Copy from <notes> to </notes> in your **username**.xml file, then e-mail or stick contents on jump drive and put on other comp. The .xml file will be in the main directory of your full tilt poker file under program files.

Your not doing it note by note, ur copying the entire contents of the file. You have to do it this way whenever you want to move notes over. I tried just copying the entire .xml file over before and it gave me trouble with writing notes so I just copy the contents now. I switch computers every single day and the whole process takes me a little less than 15 seconds.

Also, I don't know what you're playing, but FTP is not the place to play 2nl or 5nl. Probably not 10nl either. The rake is to rediculous, and the deep-stacked tables on stars are much better. I usually suggest people play 2nl-10nl at stars, then move to FTP for 25nl.
I was only playing 2NL while I get used to the UI and as I wait to do my first deposit. BTW, FTP support finally got back to me so I can go ahead with the deposit and get my full $600 bonus. I play 50NL at stars and will probably start with 25NL at FTP. Heck, I'm the guy who put together the spreadsheet showing that FTP + rakeback < PS without any FPPs for 10NL and below (they are pretty close if you have FT rakeback but PS is still better).

What tilts me is not having all the TN features. The PokerStars and FT client both have the problem that when I manually try to move one table and action is required on another table, my grip on the table I'm moving is lost and the table returns to it's original position. It is infuriating to be multitabling and it taking 5 tries to move a table to where you want it. TableNinja (PS) has key bindings for moving tables so I don't have this problem.

Also, I can't find a way to get FT to stop asking me if I want to turn "autopost blind" on when I turned it off on purpose in the BB -- it prompts me in the SB and I must click through their popup. PokerStars may have similar problems but TableNinja on PokerStars has pretty much made the PS UI nirvana.

I'm settling in and getting used to the FTP client quirks and the short comings of TN-FT.

I've decided I hate FT avatars so I've turned them off. I like PokerStars avatars because they are actually chosen by the player and actually reflect an artistic choice. The FT stock avatars are lame.

It's almost impossible to find decent regular tables so it's deep only for me.

Same. I only play four, so it's ok. There's plenty. But the short stacks at regular tables are ridiculous. There are never fewer than five.

They each have their foibles. I've been on FT forever and can't handle more than 4 tables on PS because the interface tilts me. Its mostly a matter of getting used to it imo.

What are you doing moving tables around though? I've never had to do that.

And you just found one of FTP's biggest "foibles". Even after unchecking auto-post blinds, it'll still ask you if you want to post them.

If you press the F1-F4 keys with the venus fly trap avatar, you can make it look like it's talking or eating.

Honestly, I love FT's software, probably because I'm used it though. Stars always gives me trouble when I'm donking around over there. But it's miles ahead of Cake, where I don't want to play even with Rakeback because it tilts the crap out of me. Seriously, I already checked the fold box, why the frig are you popping up the table? To tell me you folded? Thanks a million, Cake.

When I played on Stars again for the first time in month, I literally got a headache from its sounds. Since their software is the nuts though, you can specify which sounds it should play. So obv I configured it to play the FT sounds

Worst software I came across so far was Betfair, geez, I won't even start talking about it.

Everest is pretty blech as well. Especially the feature that tables pop up when action is required. Unlike Stars or FullTilt it doesn't wait for you to act on the tables it had previously popped up. So one table comes up, and while you're reacting to it another one covers it, never letting you return to the first one. This makes stacking pretty much impossible.
