Got my token delivered today! I ordered it first day with Iron Man points, never got an e-mail confirmation, but it was waiting for me when I got home tonight.
i got a package from full tilt yesterday. it should have been the token but nothing-yes nothing--was in the package/box. lol wtf?
I totally believe this because the side flap of my box was unsealed and barely closed. I thought my wife had already opened it. The token could have easily fallen out at any time.
a Few reasons: December is going to be a tough month for me to make Iron Man due to some scheduling, family trips and a **** ton of work, so I need to be able to sit down for 40 minutes, and get my 200FTP points. I am not good enough to play 100BB+ at NL100 without me 100% mentally invested, so if I even start to auto pilot at NL100 it does not turn out well.
I have also wanted to really get into the minds of SSer, and since I do take some good notes on them I "think" I understand a lot of mistakes they are making, now I want to see if I can do better...
Most likely I will probably only log 2K hands SS and return to the deep ante tables.
25NL actually seems to be the first level where they have SSers who don't actually try and play poker. They just sit with their 5/5 stats and shove when they have their hands. I need to learn to fold to them. I love stacking them, because I consider them scum, but I'm learning that it's pretty -EV, especially over time.
I found SSers at the NL25 and NL50 easy money as long as I didn't lose sight of them (i.e. forgetting about where they are at the table and making a move I shouldn't). Basically I start with a 99+, AQo+ and know right off the back I am committed against them. Knowing that I won't fold and that they will over use FE against me keeps there range wide.
At 100 there's a lot of SSz who have a really wide steal range and will snapfold to a 3bet, so I do tend to 3bet a lot against them. if they shove they often have stuff like 22-33 so if I was 3betting super light, still priced in to call and end up winning most of these flips.
I hope ftps plan is to rig the fk out of the shorts so that they lose everytime they get it all in.
I did something yesterday I always say I was going to do, but actually had the discipline to do it.
So I don't play until my blinds when I decide to quit. I usually try to just close all my tables as quickly as possible and leave. The theory behind it is that I don't want to play any hands after I mentally "quit" the session already. Usually what happens is that I start to close my tables, and if I have a good hand, I will play that one hand straight forward and then leave, these hands usually have mixed results.
Last night I was done, closing my tables and on one of my deepstack ante tables as I was closing it I had AA UTG, with $420 stack and several players had me cover and a lot had $200+...decided to stick to my guns and folded....
