Wow, they had me set up in like a week.

I had a pre-existing account and was given the "We'll consider you for our rakeback program in the future" emails
10-29-2009 , 03:40 PM
When did you do it? It was like a month and a half ago for me. I think it's easier to get it now. I made the FT account back in March.

I made my account in 2005 and emailed them January 2009 asking for rakeback. They sent me acceptance in July or August

How did you go about it? I have psychological problems preventing me from asking for things, even those I deserve (like insurance claims). I mean, I guess "Guys, I need rakeback" won't cut it.

I think my wording was to ask them if I was eligible for it. They took a few days and told me I was.
10-29-2009 , 04:46 PM
Yeah, you're going to have to ask.

Canga, obv parts of this don't apply but here's the original i sent:

My name is xxx, my primary account is xxx

Recently I opened a new account, "yyy" with rakeback provided through rakeback.org

This account was closed by Full Tilt because it violated the one account per person rule. I'm told that my funds are to be transferred to my original account, xxx (could I also ask that you check on this as well? I've received confirmation that Full Tilt is trying to transfer my funds to an account "diegox2008" that has absolutely no relation to me and I'd prefer if my $xxxx doesn't get transferred to a random person.)

If my funds are successfully transferred to xxx I continue on playing at Full Tilt, I've been a loyal customer for over 4 years, and have generated plenty of rake for the company. What would be my chances of joining your internal rakeback program provided by "rakebackpros"?

I've heard of many being accepted into this program, and given my long-term status at Full Tilt, and the volume I've been playing recently that I should also be considered

Thank you for your time and I appreciate any help

xxx

I think my email was a little soft, I would tell them what kind of volume you play, and that you deserve to have rakeback because of the prospective revenue you will create for them

Today I saw the god run of all god runs. The fish sat with $125 already on the table when I arrived and when I leaved he sat there with $275..... I was just "WTF?"

Too bad he got although some money from me when I got it AI on the flop w/ Bottom set and he rivered a higher set

what happens to your iron man status if they catch you with a second account? does that transfer over too?

Not that I have any experience with this, but I seem to remember reading posts from folks who did have it happen and they said no. Nothing but the account balance is moved; you lose all IronMan medals and months.

Decided to play some $100nl today as the $50 tables looked bad. Welcome to 100nl for the day Nino .... here come the swings. From +$260 to -$140 to +$2.

Oh well earned a quick 1700 FTPs and had fun
10-29-2009 , 08:09 PM
i was off to a decent start then ftp was freezing up... probably a combination of a weak signal and playing 8 tables with HEM scanning the lobby... managed to grab a BI in 200 hands while losing two flips against SSers

almost back to even for the month and the month is running out fast!!!

Nino, how'd you find 100nl to play??? comparable to fiddy but pots were twice as large???

SSNL forum would be:
"You effin nit, why only play NL50 tables, you suck so bad, play REAL poker you dbag. Check out how great I am, here is my blog, my graph and my PTR rating. I AM AWESOME. I RULE"

MSNL forum would be:
"Fold preflop"

HSNL fourm would be:
"I just have my PA do it for me"
LOL! Great post Sammy....

FYI to IMS: people in the SSNL FTP reg thread have grown tired of you b/c you talk about yourself too much and post way too many useless hands in the thread. Also, you have a habit of telling people to "feel free to check my PTR stats", which is the height of dbagness.

Most guise don't care what stakes you play, and are likely cautioning you on playing MSNL on a thin roll because they have learned the hard way.

Can we prop bet on the odds of you moving up?
Good luck if you are still grinding the hundo.

FTPs do not transfer over, and I can only assume that Iron man medals/status does not either

I thought the tourney started in Nov? I'm good to go on Sunday but have a gym attendance prop bet that's coming down to the wire today and Halloween debauchery tomorrow.

I'll PM you with contact info so we can setup the matches, I'd fine with 50BB or 200BB if we play 2 of em at the same time.

(hoping your jesus-run-good expires Oct 31st )
10-30-2009 , 01:37 PM
Sounds good, Sunday is good for me. Don't worry, my runbad starts whenever its for something big.

Do you use the HEM table scanner?
