I don't even play it at higher levels (and Matt scolded me for that). I don't know, I just play ultra-nitty at the nanostakes and fare well. In EP that means QQ+ AK.

I'd consider 10 bb/100 great, 6bb/100 good.

Ya I have sadly noticed that in the past as well. Seems I was able to just murder and crush the quarter but could only marginally beat the fiddy. Think it is because i sucked though.

Hi, is there a major difference between NL10 and NL25? Can you still play ABC poker at NL25 or no?

hell yes!

A little more aggressive, but there is plenty of fish stacking of with all sorts of hands.

Bad is a relative concept. The hand is at 5nl so you are assuming most players are bad, but you aren't comparing them to Hero's skill level (no offence to hero here, I'm not calling you bad, I'm just not making the automatic assumption that you are better than the rest of the table).

It's been a while since I've played 10NL at FTP, but ABC poker will work well at 25NL. You can definitely play 12/9 or so and profit.

While I assume he's a lot a better since he posts on here. Also, a player needs to start learning how to play after the flop at some point in time.

The bottom line is that KQs has enough value to open from any position imo.

So the aggression is the only difference, which i would have to adjust to?

There's playing postflop though and then there's playing postflop oop in a multiway pot.

I'll open Sc's utg but I tighten up a bit if I know there's a lot of loose players behind me.

At a higher level I'd rather play 65s than KQs.

This is pretty inaccurate for a lot of reasons, but I guess we look at things differently.

You should want to play pots with bad players IP or OOP with a KQs for a lot of reasons.

I guess you're better postflop than me. With 65s at least I don't get married to a pair OOP.

Anybody of the small volume players like me here have interest in a little volume prop for November?

It would be like 25k hands while not playing more then 8 tables.

Reasons KQs is better than 65s:

1) 65s has no high card value, but when we make a pair with KQs we usually have the the best hand.

2) KQs dominates other Ks that fish like to call with.

3) KQs will cooler hands like JTs, 9Ts when you both make flushes.

4) KQs can cooler hands like TT/99/JJ with str8s.

As I've said though, you are making assumptions with the 'bad' comment. Hero never said the players were bad, he said they were loose. He also never claimed he was better than them.

I equate loose with bad at 5NL. It doesn't really matter anyway because I think the hand has too much value to fold.

I didn't invent the idea. If you have a DC subscription watch the Coaching Tree vids. BW goes in depth on why the hand has lots of value from EP.

ABC poker will almost always crush any 25nl table. And if ABC poker wont crush the 25nl FR table you are on then you need to table select and find another one because there will be 20 others that it will crush on.
