Is it standard for a guy to initiate the first 4-5 interactions/hangout/hookups once you've met the chick? Somethin about it makes me feel needy.

We have fun together, and anytime she can't do something, she always re-schedules but in my past experience, after the first few dates/parties, I haven't had to make everything happen.

I'd imagine it just depends on the girl and the nature of your relationship. On the average, I'd say the guy initiates way more of the interactions, but it varies a lot. For some relationships, the girl may initiate mostly. For others she may never. Part of that is probably how much each person likes the other (person that is more attached initiates more) but that isn't the only force driving this. I'd say if you have a good time with her and she always seems keen to hang out, then don't worry about it. If the situation progresses and it's the 20th time you've initiated and she never has, then maybe bring it up if it bothers you...but that's really only necessary if you want a serious relationship with her. Otherwise, you're both having fun, you're seeing each other, who cares.
