I hate you guys.

However, I like this term poundtown, I've never heard of it until this page of this thread.

Last edited by LKJ; 06-27-2010 at 07:41 PM. Reason: Probably due to my inability to get to poundtown for 2+ years.

yea it's normal for people to live in dorms their 2nd year. and yes, i'm going to be careful about going after girls in my dorm, cause i don't want to have it be known that a girl or two rejected me and then told all their friends.

i might even go after girls i meet outside of my dorm in class or library or gym or whatnot. the only about thing that is time bridging to a day 2 might be tricky.

Wait, what do you mean you went dry for 2 years "outside of a couple weekends"?

Turns out to be blue.

She brought an excellent red wine, really one of the tastiest I've had, no tannin taste which I love.

A good 2 hour romp in the bedroom.

So far she is not clingy and seems to like the 1 or 2 dates a week thing, which works well for me. Lets see if having sex changes things.

Brag : She's very vocal and good at it
Beat : She's not on the pill, and condoms suck as we all know.
Variance : Were both busy this week, might not get another round in until after the 4th

Most important thing about an outfit: The fitting.

No need to buy expensive, preppy clothes if you look like you weigh 300 pounds. Buy fitting, slim fit clothes, probably one or even two sizes below your standard one.

yea custer, i don't like preppy clothes, but i like the puma clothes you linked. thx man. any store recommendations to shop at in general? right now my wardrobe is 60% nike clothes which is a bit absurd. and it prob looks stupid when i keep on wearing the same nike tennis shorts every day of the week.

and yea def good advice spurious about buying shirts that aren't too loose; i know those can make me look terrible and in the past i'd always get extra large shirts even though i'm only 6'0 185.

Yep...Having shirts for like gym/running/lounging is fine but you need some shirts that fit well(dont have to rip everytime you put it on but not loose either) and have style to them.

Interesting scenario--

I had a dental appointment this morning. Most of the ladies that work there are 40+. I know most of them because my dad is friends with the dentist and I've been going there forever.

This morning when I get called back the hygenist is ~20, 5'5, brunette, and completely adorable. I'm always open to flirting with an attractive girl regardless of the situation, so I throw on a smile even though I hate being at the dentist's office. We joke around a little bit because my old summer job was similar (except I worked for an ENT) but we had some similar experiences. Conversation was fine and friendly, but I wouldn't say there were any overt hints that I should do something about it.

Then she cleans my teeth, dentist comes by to make sure everything is good, and I'm ready to leave. As I walk to the desk to schedule for next time she's taking my chart to the front. There are people everywhere, and if I'm going to ask her out it has to be done right there and then.

What's your line and why?

Hitting on girls who are at work is meh unless you get the overt hint that you said that you didn't get.

I mean that more from a decency standpoint than an actual results standpoint, hot girls interfacing with customers must have to deal with that stuff constantly and I tend to think they shouldn't have to. In the situation you describe, you would already be putting her on the spot in a situation she can't escape (granted, we know you're a solid guy and would leave her alone and not be inappropriate, but she can't know that from her limited dealing with you), and she's especially in an uncomfortable spot if a bunch of other people are within earshot.

But given your overall results, I'm sure you had a decent shot if you went for it right then and there.

def not a big fan of hittin on girls at work

Anything short of; "hey, what are you doing later tonight/this friday, though?' is just not going to pan out afaik.
