Now this is a dramatic pause if I've ever seen one.

I think so more and more and I am usually not big on calling people gimmicks.

I really don't think he's a gimmick. I see that as an extreme longshot. When he started posting, he was a little weird but not overly so, and spent months not getting overt reactions or even trying to. And he wrote lots of long posts and stuff. There would be indicators there, and there aren't. That, and I think it would take a brilliant person to pull off all the intricacy of this character, so that lowers the chances significantly.

Wasnt he the guy who went one month without showing interest in a girl?
10-09-2011 , 05:32 PM
I'm amazed that you two (Hank and GCG) still acknowledge each other's existence.

I prefer to call it justice rather than vengeance but I do my own dirty work. I have never run and told on someone even when I could hav on many occasions. I stopped being friends with someone because he broke the rule on this.

well i wasn't necessarily thinking that i would do it face to face. a nice little anonymous tip puts me at no risk.
WTF? You really think anyone would take a anonymous letter seriously?

i don't agree with his policy because i can't afford it. the other methods of handling this problem are so circuitous as to not be worth it.
Your inability to afford it hardly makes it a bad policy.

Not a gimmick. I would accept that sometimes (very rarely) he is trolling but this is a real person and this is actually how he thinks.

An anonymous letter written with cut out newspaper headlines is always taken seriously.

Anyone that is not rich and not a hot girl should have a natural dislike of bouncers. I'll admit it's not a rational dislike, but with the exception of Lauren, nobody is rational anyway. I suspect that most people itt dislike bouncers as well.

TR: Went to Champaign, went to the bars and drank a lot, and barely spent any money. Hope to be going back sometime soon.

I dislike bouncers as well. Has nothing to do with them taking bribes (which they rarely do around here).
There attitude is mostly annoying. Someone trying to impress 18yo year after year, despite doing the job forever, is a pathetic loser.

I think you're looking at this the wrong way. Getting to know bouncers is very beneficial imo.

I now know a guy in real life who makes me stop questioning how genuine 2p2 posters are, or even how realistic fictional characters are. My go-to in describing this guy is to say that knowing him was enough to convince me to stop saying that Dwight Schrute is unrealistic. He's not like Dwight, or like GCG, but he is so ****ing weird that if you just described him on paper to me and I hadn't met him myself, I wouldn't believe you. I would at least think that some of the stories are exaggerated.

(This is the same guy that I posted about who posted a status update to tell all 1200 of his Facebook friends about his girlfriend cheating on him after how well he treated her.)

Bottom line...weirdos do exist.

I'm also bothered by how much they relish the small amount of power that they have, especially given how little skill/ability is necessary to obtain it.

A person should not go through life with a "who cares?" attitude toward their own irrational behavior. We all fall victim to at least having irrational impulses, but the response to that isn't supposed to be to say "**** it" and just own the irrationality.

did we ever arrive at a conclusion as to what is standard behavior when grinding with a girl? is it weird to get a boner, or weird to not get a boner, or does it just not matter?

I would find it weird to get a boner while grinding.

Thought I think you're trolling us trolling you, assuming you're at least buzzed I couldn't see this being a big problem.
