Play during a rain storm in the middle of winter which will help your run game and hurt the Pats pass offense.

Fumble and recover 10 times

Get gifted half a dozen turnovers

Punt the ball 60+10 twice in the 4th quarter

Convert 3rd and 20 on a screen pass

Fake a punt on 4th in 10

Get a 65 yard kickoff return

Get a bunch of wide open 40 yard passes where the receiver is barely touched

Win by a touchdown!
niners went into conservotard mode midway through the 3rd with a 28 point lead and still ended up beating the pats in ypp on the road despite having an almost 1:2 pass/rush ratio and the pats having an over 2:1 pass/rush ratio. i mean sure the game was closer than it should have been but lol #1 team in the nfl.

Niners are definitely the best team in the NFL right now. Don't think they beat Seattle on the road next week, but still think they win the Super Bowl.

Any 49er fan that is confident after this game deserves an lol. Pats had 10 total turnovers before this game and gave up 4 in the first half. Then their offense was just aids for the first half. They sorted things out for the 2nd half and moved the ball with ease.

49ers 100% deserved the game as they were the better team, but i do like the Pats chances if a rematch ever occurs

Mind blown that somebody just watched the game and thinks SF is the better team.

if justin smith is alright then maybe but the difference in the niners defense with and without him was stark

You want the YPP leaders?

1. San Francisco +1.6
2. Denver +1.1
3. Seattle +0.7
(tie) Pittsburgh +0.7
5. Carolina +0.5

niners caught a lot of breaks, so did the pats. that was definitely 15 minutes from hell. no argument there

What breaks did the Pats catch? One fumble is about all I can think of.

Yeah 49ers messed up their snaps a bit but iirc only 1 fumble was recovered by the pats. Call me a homer but i think the majority of the bounces went eh 49ers way. I still do think that the 49ers deserved the win though

BTW, anyone acting like the Niners got super lucky to win this game is wack. The luck was pretty much even, and the Niners just outplayed the Patriots. Here are the relevant game stats:

Niners
Yards per rush: 4.6
Yards per pass: 8.1
Turnovers: 2
Missed FGs: 1
4th downs: 1/2

Patriots
Yards per rush: 4.0
Yards per pass: 6.5
Turnovers: 4
Missed FGs: 0
4th downs: 5/6

Where in that game did the Niners get lucky to win?

i'd say fumbles recovered and pass interference being called more liberally against the pats.

Sure, that one. I'm not arguing about who caught what breaks, just stating some facts yo.

I also think it's funny when people respond with one line like "they had 6 fumbles" or "they lost 1 of them" and think it is a good argument for something other than that sentence is true.

You just gave up 41 points in a cold December home game vs a QB making his fifth NFL start. That same QB had more TDs, less INTs, a higher YPP, and a significantly higher rating than Tom Brady. That teams running attack put up 180 yards and again had a higher YPP.

Your team lost to the Arizona Cardinals.

And you think your team is better?

If Justin is out we have little shot at titling. He will be getting a MRI, and hopes to play next week but who knows.
