you guys are acting like getting ball back with enough time is like 100% and the 4th and 2 conversion is ~20%.

keep in mind lee has a sick boot and even if Pats for a 3 and out they're just going to aids position again. with no TOs and not much time.

It's not 100%, but it's well over 50%. Not sure what their odds of converting on 4th and 2 are, but either way, they still have to go 80 yds if they pick up the first down.

With 2 TOs and the 2min warning, the Pats could theoretically get the ball back with almost 2 full minutes left. How is that "not much time?"

I like the crowd everyone into the middle and then dribble it ten yards kick. Not sure if you can still pull of a variant of it given the NFL kickoff rules, unsure of how many guys you need split outside of the numbers nowadays

I suspect it improves for the pats if they go for it but i could certainly be wrong.

it's certainly not an "awful" decision in that it shifted EV some massive amount.

Play during a rain storm in the middle of winter which will help your run game and hurt the Pats pass offense.

Fumble and recover 10 times

Get gifted half a dozen turnovers

Punt the ball 60+10 twice in the 4th quarter

Convert 3rd and 20 on a screen pass

Fake a punt on 4th in 10

Get a 65 yard kickoff return

Get a bunch of wide open 40 yard passes where the receiver is barely touched
