It's simple you have a 16 team playoff. The first round the top 8 seeds get a home game. 11 Conference champs and 5 at large bids. So no exclusion. Then, play the final 3 rounds on neutral sites (Rose, Sugar, etc...). It would give the BCS bowls 3 extra games to present. ESPN could hype the **** out of "December Delirium". We would all play the brackets and almost everybody is happy. This format allows the champion to be determined on the field.

You could still have the other bowl games but, the number of other bowl games should be reduced anyways. There isn't the same amount of interest because the bowl games are spaced out over 4 weeks, crappy locations, etc... The other surviving bowls would function as consolation games for those teams with winning records but, couldn't earn a playoff birth.

Yeah but West Virginia is just like a fail machine. They have so much talent and just lol. Geno Smith, Noel Devine, Jock Sanders, Steadman Bailey, Tavon Austin, a decent o-line and we went scoreless against Syracuse for like 3 quarters.

This game is absolutely terrible.

Tonight is another example where the BCS is a huge piece of garbage compared to a playoff. This game would have national championship implications if the Big East champ got a playoff spot. Same with UGA/UF and many others this weekend. Now, I really don't feel like watching. Earlier in the year I would have been interested, but there's nothing on the line now, unless you're a fan of one of the schools.

Um, no, this game would still not have NC implications. We're talking about #12 or #13 seed in the plan up above and while upsets do happen, 4 consecutive upsets are not likely. Nobody's going to be anxiously watching this game to see who has a greater chance of getting that coveted #12 seed.

Yeah, and the 9 vs 8 game never matters in March Madness. Those are the #28-#36 seeds.
