Honestly, I think Mir finishes him in the later rounds. Nelson was so far gone that I envision Mir getting a trip TD and pretty easily getting a stoppage.

I'm going to cruz/ faber II, my first live mma event. My friend and I are planning to eat before the prelims, but what is a normal plan for food throughout the event, do you just wait until after, or is there food there, ala baseball games. Thanks

That would be mostly dictated by whatever venue you are in. I'd check with the venue.

Venue being like seats, or like arena? We are in sort of the cheap seats, 200 level, 180ish a piece I think it was.

Its pretty much like any other sporting event from my experiences(although I've only been to Vegas UFCs). I'd eat beforehand and then just drink alcohol there, but I'm not a big fan of hot dogs/popcorn/soft pretzels/etc. If you don't mind eating the food you'd normally eat at a sporting event, then just eat there.

30-27 twice, how is that possible? when Young clearly won the 2nd round.

Same thing with Omigawa, impossible to not give him round 3. Literally impossible.

just caught the crowd booing the decision for the Omigawa fight, hardly surprising the judges are still messing up.

i think they scored the 2nd round against Young on Joe Rogan saying "maybe he has taken the round away from him" when Poirier (the dude) took him down in the last 20seconds of the round after taking a kicking.

yeah he didnt want to tap to strikes but he instantly tapped when ring put his hands on his neck

i've no idea whether that was strength or technique that got that choke, mighty impressive either way.

LOL @ Munoz getting that decision....even bigger LOL @ scoring that 30-27....Different event same story. MMA judging is such a ****ing joke it makes watching these events not even enjoyable. Might as well just flip a coin if the fight comes down to a decision.

Ill be the first to admit, im not a huge "follower" of MMA. I know the bignames and sometimes catch replays sometimes, but anything but a hardcore type of guy. I was bored at work and decided to check this out, im here for 12 hours so why not. Couple of thoughts:

-Damn was it just me or was Cerrone literally kicking the living **** out of Rocha. Those kicks looked vicious.

-What a turn around by Herman in that 2nd Round. That was a hell of a fight to watch imo.

-WTF was up with the Maia/Munoz scoring?? Maia easily won 1st Round...Munoz 2nd Round...i thoguht itd be close after 3rd Round, but i thought it was Maia's. Unanimous?? really?? and 30-27 one judge? gtfo
