Well you get a free win next week. I feel like this Jaguars offense has to be one of the worst in recent memory. They are beyond putrid.

The AFC looks so weak this year. So ****ty that Schaub is out all season. We had a decent shot to sneak our way into a S.B. in our first every playoff season.

Though I still believe Kubiak will be outcoached by anyone he's up against come playoff time but that D is playing so well together that I think he might actually get away with it.

No Jacknodding.gif this week, but MIA has taken themselves squarely out of the race, and the Colts retain their 2 game lead in the race.

tack on going like 11-5 at worst and getting a first round bye, thus decreasing the chance of a Kubiak fail from 3 games down to 2.

We play the Colts in week 16. If they have Luck wrapped up they can play for the win. Frightening.

Unless Peyton's recovery ramps up, Painter is still the QB. You'll be ok.

I'd love to play Peyton fighting for our playoff lives

we'll end his career

Wow, getting a playoff birth has really lit a fire under Texans' fans asses. Probably best to wait until you win a playoff game though.

what

Would be the dumbest decision ever to let us tee off on Peyton in a lost season, you'd deserve every hit he takes.

Uhhh of course. Peyton isn't playing this year regardless of how his rehab goes, that's been the idea since day 1.

PHB joked that "We play the Colts in week 16. If they have Luck wrapped up they can play for the win. Frightening."

and I said that since Painter will be the QB, HOU will be fine (ya know, cause Painter is just god awful).

I thought that was pretty clear.

I can't wait for that epic week 17 game of Painter vs Gabbert PART 2.

It should end up being one of the worst sequels of all time. Up there with Speed 2, Blair Witch: Book of Shadows, and Jaws 2.

Meh, I love seeing teams play spoiler. Pretty funny stuff especially since all the non-Needle East Coasters were sucking Eli off so hard the last few weeks.

ELIte.

I thought the whole thing was a hilarious joke. With that said he is still having an incredibly amazing season.

Looks like the Texans have a lock on the division after TEnnessee lost today.

The loss sucks but as a Titans fan I was happy to see Locker come in and play well.

No they all believe it. It sounds like you do, too. "Incredibly amazing"? Really?

If you're comparing him to Eli Manning then yeah I guess Eli's having an incredibly amazing season..

Yeah man. Just cause you don't like the guy doesn't mean he isn't having a great season. FWIW, both Peyton and Archie got much better as their careers went on. In some regards, dramatically better. Eli's biggest downfall is his comp%.

And you know I'm extremely high on Schaub. I truly believe Schaub is the single least appreciated player in the NFL. Andre Johnson is GOAT and all but...I put a lot of the reason Foster and Tate do what they do on Schaub's shoulders. The better he got, the better the rushing game got.

Thanks. Gabbert will be out of the NFL before Case Keenum gets a chance to start. He is horrific. Though in fairness I didn't see a single snap of today's game and the only game I saw was a bit of the Bears and most of the Giants.

No INTs from sunshine today and had a positive comp%. Not getting the ball in on the 1 is horrendous. Your best player doesn't touch the ball inside the 5 and has a chance at a play on the swing route?

Gabbert desperately needed a season where he could sit back and adjust. Not having the offseason is brutal for a spread QB. Newton is getting a ton of love but you can't out athlete forever. But his successes aren't of the Vince Young successes and seem to be much more positive.

Ponder really is going to do well in the NFL. I've said it for years now. Locker...who the **** knows. I still have no faith in Locker to ever do anything other than get hurt one day.

Ponder is the one that will haunt me I think. That or us passing on Matt Barkley due to the Gabbert pick. I love next year's class so much. Jokes, Barkley, Griffin, Moore. I'm also interested to see Keenum.

At least Jacksonville didn't destroy themselves for Gabbert and are awful enough to not do anything other than lose unlike a team like the Jets who seem like they could potentially be stuck with Sanchez for a while.

I forgot about Dalton, Colin Kapernick or however you spell it, and Mallet. Haven't seen the Bengals do anything so no comment on Dalton but his numbers seem to speak for themselves.

Man you are really bad when discussing anything other than offensive line tactics. I don't know how you were voted "most often right" in the Sheep game.

1) I didn't say I don't like Eli.
2) Having an "incredibly amazing" season is a lot different from a "great" season.
3) Don't compare him to Matt Schaub when defining "incredibly amazing" because that's ****ing stupid.

4) Matt Shaub isn't as good as you think. And no I didn't "know" you were high on Matt Schaub but it kinda doesn't surprise me.
5) Matt Schaub is not the single least appreciated player in the NFL. No idea who is but it sure as **** isn't Matt ****ing Schaub.
6) Matt Schaub makes his running backs so good - just look at the 2009 Texans' rushing stats!

Eli is having probably a "great" season. Especially for him. But he's not having an "incredibly amazing" season.

I coulda sworn you said something about disliking Eli when you mentioned his wife a few years ago. So I apologize for that.

I mean...I'm not qualified to sit here and get in depth on an NFL QB so I use what I can to try to evaluate. His numbers so far are showing him in the top tier of QBs. Rodgers is by himself. Not sure what else you want there.

Again I thought I remembered you "discussing" things when I called Schaub one of the better QB's in the NFL(maybe my language was different and said Schaub was better) earlier in the season.

You understood the point I was making with my hyperbolic comment.

Pretty sure I've covered Schaub and the running game before and he softens the box a tremendous amount which has helped that running game a ton.

What thread was that where I discussed Schaub. Was it here? I can't ****ing remember...

I don't have any personal problem with Eli Manning. Sure I say "LOLELI" and "ShELIsha" and "ELIte" all the time and I do make fun of his looks but I don't have any legit reason to hate Eli.

I don't even know who his wife is.

But it is pretty awesome schadenfruede when fans suck off their home QB so hard and he fails in a really important game by being strip-sacked in the 4th quarter after being made to sound like the GOAT 4th quarter QB after a nice run of mid-season comebacks.

Eli could use a good run game though. Giants run game has been AIDS since Tiki left. I mean they got some good output one year with Jacobs crushing goalline carries (I know b/c he was my ff RB) and the Earth/Wind/Fire ... thing... that kinda worked for a while but he's had to do a lot without much help at running back for years.
