Possibly one of the most hilarious CNN.com front pages I've ever seen:

Spoiler:

the anticipation you build up by using the spoiler function is some expert level posting there Taso.

Why the hell did you need to specify that the book not be written by a white supremacist? Ban so you can consider your sins.
I see Elliot is modding more and more like me every day.

02-18-2009 , 01:05 AM
It's usually Tso's, but I still thought chicken when I saw "Tsao."

So basically in preparation for the imminent collapse, we should be following most of the "10 Commandments" of John Titor, the time traveler from 2036 who posted on forums in 2000-2001, right?

1. Do not eat or use products from any animal that is fed and eats parts of its own dead.
2. Do not kiss or have intimate relations with anyone you do not know.
3. Learn basic sanitation and water purification.
4. Be comfortable around firearms. Learn to shoot and clean a gun.
5. Get a good first aid kit and learn to use it.
6. Find 5 people within 100 miles that you trust with your life and stay in contact with them.
7. Get a copy of the US Constitution and read it.
8. Eat less.
9. Get a bicycle and two sets of spare tires. Ride it 10 miles a week.
10. Consider what you would bring with you if you had to leave your home in 10 min. and never return.

When I say "imminent collapse" I mean the obvious imminent collapse, nothing to do with Titor's predictions. When we go all Mad Max, most of those 10 are good advice.

And anyway Titor was correct about everything, we're just on a different worldline.
