Yep, Machida's not a very smart fighter... Also not durable at all.

JFC the only way Machida could have looked more like ass tonight is with a giant tattoo of buttcheeks all over himself.

Machida just totally **** the bed in the grappling department. Rockhold ran roughshod over him on the ground and then he had zero gas left after....1 round? Ok I guess.

It wasn't that he was gassed, he got absolutely mauled and the damage did him in. His lack of defensive technique was severely exposed, something he didn't have to worry about as much earlier in his career, but now he's older and people are better. But even then, looking back, he was bad defensively in Shogun II, the Jones fight, and now this. And he lacks durability/recovery.. he pretty much got finished every time he got rocked.

machida was injured going into the fight you can see him wincing during weigh ins while taking his shirt off and he also barely flexed

It's not just lack of defensive technique, he went down to.. a missed punch or something in R1 and a random push in R2. Obviously being on bottom early in R1 was his nightmare strategy scenario, and it wasn't a shocker (at least to me) he got mauled once he found himself there, but the way he got there, twice, was something else. Rockhold had to close a ****ton of distance in R2 and Machida still wasn't that close to making it to his feet safely in time.

Come on, rd1 and 2 were not the same at all. The first was a lucky/unlucky slip (I saw it after a missed strike too), depending which side of the coin you're on, and that Rockhold expertly capitalized on. The second was more because he had no ****ing clue what he was doing anymore and was just on autopilot, which you can clearly see from how he stumbles back to his corner at the end of the first and how he looks like in the opening seconds of the 2nd round. He pretty much fell cause he was just unsteady on his legs and really had no business even coming out to fight anymore.. he prob should've just quit on his stool.

Wasn't watching after the horn in R1. But yeah if he couldn't walk to begin with then getting owned by a push isn't as surprising.

Jacare Camozzi fight, it goes like that 99/100, Camozzi's TDD seemed awful and Jacare taps him every single time when they are on the ground. He probably thought, **** it throw in Camozzi, easy money.

Lost money on Cub puts me like 0.1 unit in profit for the year after a bad run on the last few cards.
Serves him right for coming in with a boxing coach in his corner, I saw he was training with one on the buildup videos but didn't he had left Jacksons and replaced him with a guy that doesn't know all aspects of mma. F****** ****** never liked Cub but thought he would be slicker on his feet and had better grappling but he looked awful, lucky he never got a title shot or ran into Conor as on that performance he would have got smashed.

Jacare may have hard time preparing mentally for this fight. Worth the shot with this price.
Damn Rockhold and Jacare are good. They make it look so effortless. Holloway just keeps getting better. After Conor takes the belt. Then Holloway cs McGregor rematch. Probably not going to happen but it would be even closer than the last one.

2015 Total : +10u

Do you guys really think the slip is why mach lost ? Sure it didn't hurt rock but from that point on it was a mauling. Personally I think slip or no slip the fight was gonna end just like it did sooner or later.

I think it was the elbow (perhaps to the back of the head) with 1 second left in the 1st round that totally messed Machida up. After that he had no chance as he was so dizzy for the rest of the fight.

Rockhold's a beast and I am loving the MW division right now.

Swanson looked small and like garbage... maybe edgar took his soul. But take nothing away from Holloway's fine performance and was really glad he went for the finish when he had a chance instead of playing it safe.

I kinda thought that might have been an illegal shot in real time but nobody mentioned it; what do you guys think, back of the head or side?
