Driving 7 hours from Long Island, thru NJ and Pennsylvania, up to upstate NY. Any places I should be stopping at? I was planning on just getting McD's breakfast in the morning and getting a Wawa sub in Pennsylvania.

+1 on the wawa sub. Def do that in pa/philly area tho. When you get up to upstate ny near ithaca there's a truckstop (I forget the name,but its def a upsny chain (it's two letters, I wanna say t+m but I'm probably wrong) with showers and **** that has a decent diner in there). Hopefully others can chime in.

edit...if you end up near buffalo check out schwabbles. Best beef on wheck aka roast beef you will have.

Something bizarre is happening in the NYC fast food scene. My local McD's replaced its dead-eyed teenage cashier zombies with super friendly guys in their 20s that have a combination of Midwestern friendliness and NYc speed.

the chili griller thing at taco bell is like an 8.5. I do like it better than that other potato one they have.
