Loved their chili cheese burgers and fries when I was younger, now I can't get that taste out of my mouth any time I see or hear about them.

lol get the **** out of here with that ****. No one with half a brain thinks that any of that food is good for them, but on the other hand, that kind of analysis of pretty much any food, especially processed food, is going to reveal all kinds of stuff that people would normally find unappetizing or may think is bad for them when it's really present in pretty much everything.

Never liked McNuggets, even as a kid. Even Burger King's nuggets were/are much better.

Try dipping them in a sauce.

The Burger King hate is too much in here. Is the Whopper the only thing worth eating on their menu? Sure, but it's really ****ing good. Don't monkey around, just go and get 2 for $5 Whoppers and quit eating all the other **** on their menu. Hell, 2 years ago Whoppers were still a single ****ing dollar, which made them a runaway leader in value. Still pretty damn good @ 2 for $5.

Fire makes food taste good which is why Carl's Jr. is far and away the best national burger chain.

I clicked the link but I didn't read ****. I just saw the picture, closed my browser, and went to buy McNuggets.

I think Burger King has the highest variance of any fast food chain. A well made whopper is pretty close to being my top fast food item (lol canada) but maybe 1/10 actually qualifies.

I realize that and you happen to be one of my favorite posters kioshk. I was conflicted whether or not to post that link. Totally understand if you or the mod here would like it taken down. You are correct in pointing out the spirit of the thread. Apologies offered.

I lived in a Long Island town which was one of the first on the east coast that McD's opened. I was 17yrs. old then. My friends and I Lived there. We skipped our family dinner to go there. I'm 60 now. My younger son has literally eaten a hundred pounds+ of chicken mcnuggets while growing up. I am not speaking from any pulpit. On some nights I still crave a Bic Mac dammit.

The build your own pizza craze is hitting San Diego. In Hillcrest, we have Project Pie. Think of it as Chipotle, but for pizza. Choose your own cheese(s) and toppings. Unlimited toppings fwiw. All this on a 10''(?) crust for $7.99. They also have pizzas you can choose from, such as bbq chicken. Was very very good. They have soda fountain that has sodas made w pure cane sugar (Boylan's soda I think). See on yelp there's one in mgm in vegas, but prices (of course) are a bit more expensive. They also have dessert pies. Nutella and banana or nutella and walnuts(?). Didn't try these though.

We also have place called Pieology pizzeria opening up soon. Checked out website and it looks same as project pie. Locations only in CA w one in Lakewood, Colorado as well. Anyone itt been to pieology?

Yep, two opened near me recently. I'll give it another try but I wasn't blown away the first time. The crust isn't my favorite, very cracker-like, and the red sauce is a little too thin and sweet. The size is pretty good for the price and the selection of toppings is pretty solid. If the crust were more my style I think I'd like the place more.

It's not kosher. You're going to need to go wash in the Ganges River.

also in NYC i would rec Grays papaya on 8th street and 6th ave or the one on 72nd and bway and also the dollar dumpling spots on eldridge street .

while not officially "fast food chains"... if you are going to be in the city, these are good cheap eats .

Their Polish sandwich is pretty darn good. Polish dog in between two slices of grilled rye (makes it a little awkward to eat but still good) with melted Swiss, spicy mustard, and a pickle. Good stuff.
On a side note, I had a double croissanwich the other day with sausage and bacon and it was in the top 3 best breakfast sandwiches I've ever had.

Yeah this. I don't need some fancy pants article to tell me they're disgusting - I can tell that by putting one in my mouth. All nuggets (besides cfa) are processed chickenfood, but there is something especially slimy and gross about mcnuggets

CFA is changing their ingredients. Taking the high fructose corn syrup out of buns and dyes out of sauces.
