gf's parents are the type that find it rude if you do anything else but cater to your guests. I need to win the Sunday Million so I can move from here

15 minutes from your wife's parents.

You seem to hate it a lot more than me though ..... I don't mind it .... free dinner from time to time and can use their pool. They haven't really come over here like you describe though .... that could be annoying.

Might want a backup plan to winning the Sunday Million though.

I was reading through the thread and just replied to each post I wanted to respond to as I got to it.... hence the many posts in a row.

Though I really did only figure out how to use this multiquote thing like 2 or 3 months ago.

I knew how to do it on the old boards but just recently figured out how to finally make it work on these .... after many times of clicking those stupid multiquote things and not being able to get it to work ... lol.

you can't just invent a job for sundays that would keep you gone for the day? like coaching or teaching? then grind it out at a friend's pad.
clutching at straws i guess.

i have friends who when i tell i'm grinding and need to concentrate, they call around anyway, turn on the tv and start talking chit.

grrrrrr.

For the most part I don't mind it.. in fact it's usually a really good perk.. free food.. they usually insist on paying for anything we do etc.. but there are a few irritating things that have been compounding lately, making my feelings come off as being worse than they are.

But the Million is already a backup plan for winning the wcoop me.. isn't that good enough??? I guess there is that whole getting a degree and moving thing too.

It's time once again for Loud Saturday!

Loud Saturday is the day my neighbor across the courtyard blasts music (and I do mean 'blasts', as he's a good 100+ feet from my apartment (and he's on the third floor of that apartment, ffs), and my floor still shakes) until my upstairs neighbor, who works the night shift, goes and complains. It happens every week. The theme this week? The 80s.

My roommate hasn't been here with me all month to over/under when the party will stop. Sad panda.

Last edited by whydowe_fall; 07-10-2010 at 03:47 PM. Reason: As I finished writing, 'Hollaback Girl' started playing. Now I have no clue what the theme is... Ooh, now there's Lady Gaga!

I dunno. If you have a problem, if no one else can help, and if you can find them, maybe you can hire the A-Team.
