googled the problem and apparently its some hardware error but theres no way of knowing which bit so you have to remove/replace them one by one and if it still does it then your motherboard is ****ed. Had a nice crash yesterday in the middle of 6 tabling while my AA were being 4bet.

Ordered a new desktop today tho. gonna see if this is fixable and prob put some sort of linux on it, just use it for when travelling.

I've been experimenting with balancing my slowroll range...obv we want to have a mixture of calls with the nuts and folds in our slowroll range, but I've also started to balance by including some draws. That way even when hero makes a call our villain still still isn't sure if he has been slowrolled or not

Ouch Linux is the **** though.. I have it on my gf's netbook and it's been great... although I haven't been able to successfully install ftp onto wine on it yet, but stars (like bb99) runs great on wine.

which distro are you using?

I'm using eeebuntu, a smaller version of ubuntu, atm. It needs to be updated, but gf uses it for work so I'm waiting until semester is over to update it. Hopefully aurora is out then (but I'm not holding my breath). If not, then I might put easy peasy on it and wait for aurora. I used pupeee (smaller version of puppy, obv) and I wasn't a fan of it... ubuntu >>> puppy.

As far as ftp not installing, I'm sure it just has something to do with how I installed it, since I'm pretty sure I don't think I installed it to the wine directory.... but it works out ok anyway because I play on the netbook when I'm sitting on the couch with the gf 1 or 2 tabling some micro sng or something and barely paying attention.

I managed to get one of the IT guys to put stars on my work PC this morning. I'm sure working life in the real world shouldnt be like this!

Currently teaching privately on my own and with a little business that I manage with friends (basically a website where u can read profiles of a different teachers on dif instruments).

I teach and gig...currently I'm doing solo work and hitting a lot of open mics but ill have a gig here and there. Used to have a few steady gigs with two different bands...one a bar cover band and the other a rock band with jazz/improvisational influence

Jazz is my love and it is primarily what I play...miles davis, joe pass, sonny rollins are all huge idols of mine. Of the three guitarists you mentioned I'd have to pick paco de lucia. Never been a huge fan of mclaughlin but I like his compositions and of course with mahavishnu. Same with di meola...except I believe his playing is a little more expressive at times. Got to meet him a few years ago, seems like a fairly decent guy...incredibly intelligent that's for sure

direct correlation, imo. just said i wouldnt be playing as much. as it happens i managed a stake so ill still be playing, but mostly on stars playing 18 mans and some 5/10nl until i can build up the stake
