I just finished my first session of the year and ended up 4BIs. I played pretty good and caught some cards as well. Here are the biggest pots:

Hand #1

The 4bet kinda sucked but my kings were too good to fold for 70bbs.

fu ftp for ruining 2 of my favorite mftops events with this stupid gimmicky crap...

Quote:
A. Multi-Entry Tournaments: The pace of new JJProdigy jokes was slowing way down, so we had no choice but to come out with this.

It is what it sounds like, and you can now play in the same tournament multiple times. Unlike the inevitable comparisons to multi-accounting, though, there is no unfair advantage here. You are always "you" and everyone knows it. You can never be seated with yourself, and if you eventually have more entries than there are tables, you will be forced to "merge" stacks (see the details page linked below for more on merging).

Even players who don't like to multi-table can get in on the action. You can play all of your entries at the same time or just play one until you bust and register again (as long as late reg is still available) up to the limit for that tournament. To start, most multi-entry tournaments will have a limit of 4 or so entries, but this can and will move up or down on a per tournament basis depending on feedback and analysis.

Finally made a deposit on FTP, and I'm looking forward to taking part in this topic

Deposited $140 and my plan is to start out with NL10. Just finished my first session and I'm up just over $10. It started rather bad, after half an hour or so I was down about $3, but luckily things took a swing in the right direction. I think I played disciplined, patient ABC poker, and I caught some cards along the way.

Hopefully my next session ends the same way ^^

No, he calls with flush draws, str8 draws, QQ-99, 8x, 6x, overcards, etc etc

This is 2NL, ppls calling ranges are super wide ... he just airballed the flop unfortunately for you ... better to win a small pot than to check and have him bink his baby flush or 2 outer (e.g. he has 44, turn is a 4) and lose a large pot.

As for betting, bet at least 3/4 pot to set up an easy turn/river shove (depending on opponents stack size)

I see from the hand histories here that there's many of you who play full ring.
I've always played 6 max, are there any huge pros/cons of playing full ring?
01-11-2011 , 10:38 PM
cons: it's boring and it's full of nits
pros: good if you're a boing nit
