Had an OK first week, although I haven't had time to play too much though. Gone from 40c up to a massive £15.08, these 2c/4c games are driving me nuts atm though.

I see your heater and raise you a FU poker and doomswitch. At least I'm running better on FTP for a change. If this was my old game and stakes I might be a little more pissed but this ain't so bad. I will bide my time and study until this crap ends. Hopefully the first week of 2011 isn't a preview of the whole year.

You must have cashed out recently for that to happen as that has all the marking of the dreaded cash out curse!

Raise more on the flop... but that's about it. Maybe check turn and hope some random broadway catches up..but.. in all reality.. I don't think you can get much more value. There isn't much you can do if they don't hit the board.
01-08-2011 , 06:35 PM
mann90 generally you want to raise that flop so that villain gets about 2:1 on his money... 24-30cents is good there and the turn bet sizing should be a small % of pot but big enough so that river is 50% pot size bet or less... this keeps over pairs in the hand and make them feel like they cant fold due to pot odds ott & river and you maximize ev.... if the turn didnt fill you up or complete a flush a shove is probably best cause basically his range is overpairs and flush draws and if he has a flush you cant bet small to give him gr8 odds to call and you also lose $ cause he wont put more $ on the river but he might put his whole stack in drawing to a flush ott.. my 2cents

It's alright, I had Q4 call a pot size bet on the river before on a x9TJQ board

On the plus side, another $100+ day for me ~$150 actually Nearly at +$400 for the month so far and almost ready to move up to NL50 (hopefully) permanently.

^^^ nice... since moving back down to 4 tabling and playing tom dwan x1000 again im showing a profit woot... its draining though, 1hr of 4 tabling fighting for every pot you think you can take someone off marginals etc mentally takes its toll... mass tabling i auto pilot for hrs easy but 1hr of 4tabling and my brain is winded

learned a valuable lessons tonight at the casinos, even though it cost me a BI: I have no fold equity at all against women.

01-09-2011 , 04:36 AM
Blergh, first losing session in a while, doesn't feel great. Just a load of coolers really, and one bad beat on NL50 that hurt me All in on flop with top 2pair, called by flushdraw that hit, meh :/

Down about $90 that session, up about $50 for the day though. And a lot of hands were put in for me (3,500).

i have a bankroll of 115, ive had some winning sessions and atm 18bb/100, its a tiny sample but im beating 5nl 4 tabling just playing solid tag,the norm....but do you think i should do some big field sngs?because a bi is pretty much a whole winning session for me at 5nl!
01-09-2011 , 11:44 AM
Just moved up to 5NL a couple days ago after smashing 2NL in a week. Think I've had the bulk of my luck for the month cause I'm pretty much breaking even after a few K hands of moving up. The positive though is I got enough FPPs for another 210FPP 1/4 Mill Sat (which I'm 2 for 2 so far this year) and I'm about halfway through my first Stellar bonus.

BR - $115.62
