what is this beast and BBJ mean

Ummm.....it sounds like some of these comments are coming from people who might want to learn to sort their lobbies.

I have never seen more than one hour between tourneys, and I just counted 48 SNG's either running or with people registered at 9:21 on a Monday night. I kinda doubt there was less traffic on Friday night.

This is still a growing site, so don't expect the same selection we had on Stars/Tilt back in '09

But you're too lazy to go through thread really fast as all this has been answered within past 10 pages probably.

Nah, these comments are legit. Well, at least their claims are certainly true at some non-peak times. Currently 07:15 server time: the last tournament went off at 06:00 but I've already busted, so I'm chilling waiting until 08:00 for the next one. And that's literally the only one until 10:00 server time, so basically a 4 hour span with only two tournaments going off. Current SNG lobby has 2 tables listed as "Running" and they are both heads up.

Ummm....SNG traffic is basically non-existent. perhaps a SNG promo or something would boost traffic

When I checked on Friday night when there was one SNG running, these were my filter settings:

NLHE
All formats
$0-$20
6-10 players
Tournaments running

There were I think 3 SNGs registering players, but the players usually give up and leave before they hit 12 or 20 players. The last one I played, I was the 6th player to register. It took another 40 minutes to get to 12.

Traffic due to selection is not the issue. At one time they had regular 1-table SNGs (which had a structure that was almost too good, often taking more than 90 minutes to finish). Those were replaced by 6-man and 10-man DONs. The 6-mans were very popular, with a fair number of multitabling regs.

Whats going on with the debit cards? Will my July 30th payout go to my old or new card?
You don’t have to worry about missing any funds. Your payout will be loaded into your bank account and you will be able to retrieve the funds with the old or new card, (either one)

These are coming back today. There was a bug with the 6max DON’s which is why we had to wait to put them back up.

Thank you for your suggestion, this has been added to the queue.

I played a 12-player DON, and there was no final table. That means that on the bubble, one table has 3 players and the other will have 4. That's a huge difference in how often you get hit by the blinds. I don't know of any tournament, live or online, that has ever had tables that short, other than a final table.
EDIT: I forgot to mention that almost no one is playing these. All the SNG action was in 6-max. Currently one person is signed up for a 12-player DON, and one for a 20-player. That's the total traffic for any SNG under $20.

Once you receive rake bake you are not eligible for the elite benefits program, is that correct? If so, does that mean you will always have a multiplier of 1 for combat points?

I have rakeback, and the support representative told me that combat points are completely useless to me. I guess rakeback players are not eligible to use the store, so they just show you the amount of combat points you have as a tease.

Yeah, you can use them for various limited tournament entries (does include the Sunday 50K) and almost all Punta Cana satellite entries and all of the 50 cent/one dollar sats they offer.

You can do a one time conversion from rakeback to the rank/combat point system. This is beneficial if you are putting in a lot of volume, otherwise rakeback is the better deal anyway

Do we get our rakeback deducted for using the points?

Not anymore I feel like I'm getting the runaround. Talked to support this morning and was told it was already sent. Was told I have to call the other end now. I get the impression from a support that it was sent it and there's nothing else they can do. Now it's up to the other end, told me I have to call number on back of card. First number that was giving to me they never answer. Will update.

There were a few complications with my existing account and with my deposit. I thought you would like to know my experience with your support staff was the best I've experienced.
The issues with my account, and there were multiple issues, were resolved through a series of emails that took no more than an hour. The deposit issues were resolved on line using your chat feature by a couple of courteous reps.
In both cases your staff was friendly, courteous, and thorough. In contrast it took 30 minutes just to change the spelling of a name through WU.
Please let your staff know that their support is much appreciated.
We appreciate the kind words and I sent everyone the link to this post, thank you very much and I hope you continue to enjoy your experience at ACR.

You can’t unregister and players cannot sell their seats. Players may trade their package to another player, but ultimately a player must be in Punta Cana for the package, no compensation will be given from the house. Unless a player wins two packages, then the house will purchase the second.

Go on. Let all the beginners go and build site loyalty somewhere else. Sounds like the perfect long-term strategy for creating a large player base.
Thank you for your suggestion. This will come when we introduce a proper Time Bank feature which is scheduled to debut soon.

Americas Cardroom really does well on some things like fastest payouts around, great promotions, great customer service, software slowly is improving and a few other things. Then it seems to be lacking huge in some areas. No games other than NL holdem and a few lower stakes omaha games, no freeze out tourneys, no limit omaha or hold em games and sit and go structures and games that are constantly changing.
I think to be succesfull you need to to have a well rounded site thats consistent month after month. Poker players are tough to please and no matter what they are going to complain. Im in no way trying to say anything ill about the site. IMO just a few small simple improvements would make this site miles ahead of any other site that still is catering to American players. Maybe even compete with major world wide sites.
Thank you for your praise and we understand what you’re saying. Absolutely we are working to add the Beast to Omaha. We of course cannot add a Bad Beat Jackpot to, but we will absolutely add the Beast. We’ve been working tirelessly to improve the software and yes we have plans to push other games beyond NLHE.

The lobby online shows the number of players connected and playing in ring and tournaments. For PokerScout’s total online number, this appears to be a cumulative of Real Money and Play money players, this is the reason for difference.

The reason why we ask for a Utility Bill is in order to verify that the address registered on file is legit; this being said, any legal document (such as a bank statement or void check) that is under your name and contains the address on file will work perfectly
