I've been playing free money for the past couple of hours, testing out the site and regularly tracking the # of players online, as well as SnG activity.
The two things that have me sitting on the fence, as far as depositing money, are:
1) SnG activity seems quite low. As of 6PM EST there are only 5 active tournaments between the $0-5 range. Kinda disappointing, as I used to multi-table at least twice that.
2) The "It is your turn to act" messages seem quite inconsistent. Sometimes the table will just pop up. Sometimes I'll get an audible alert. Sometimes the windowed icon at the bottom will turn blue. There seems to be no rhyme or reason as to how I am alerted when my hand is up.
Other than those two issues; the software seems nice; the rate of play seems nice; the layout seems nice. A little more traffic in the SnG realm is my only hesitation. Just my (initial) 2c.

Another feature I would like to see is the "Call" button go red when you are facing a raise.
Yes, our SNG traffic is not at its best, but that’s why we’re doing promotions like the $10k Sit N’ go Mania Race to help boost things, some SnGs are more rewarding more points than others. See Details:

The "It is your turn to act" is on our list of development, we’ll do our best to address it soon.

Ive been sitting on hold for well over 30 minutes with the 'operator' repeating the statement "Your call is now first in line, and will be answered by the next available representative. Thank you for your patience."
Does anyone, ANYONE actually man the phones? If this is a harbinger of future service, count me out.
We have support representatives on the phone 24/7 and on chat too, do you need me to have someone contact you directly?

Trust me when I say I did my homework and this is the site for U.S players as long as you arnt looking for super high stakes or like 5+ sngs at a time.
Yo Americas card rep you were right about the 250 max deposit on visa. Dude on phone was cool, but told me the only way I could deposit more as a first timer is to use western union although he did say if I put in more then 300 the fees would be waived (aka I would pay like 360 or something total but I would get it all on my account).
Can you confirm there is no way to use my Visa for an initial 400-500 dollar deposit as a first timer?
I also saw some stuff about player to player transactions. I think I noticed that you said one could theoretically use that as an initial deposit method and still get the first timer bonus. Anyone interested in helping me try that out?
I plan to play alot of 10 and then later on 25nl 6 max ring games and 10-20 dollar heads up sit and goes or double up sit and goes and with no time limit on your deposit I was thinking I would just go ahead and put 500 on.
What do you guys think wait and try and get the full 500 first timer deposit bonus via western union or some other method. Or just go ahead and do 250 so I can start playing asap?
$250 is the max for visa. WU is easy and fast and it’s true we’ll cover fees for deposits over $300.The initial deposit bonus only applies for when you make your first deposit.

I used to use a similar method back in the day on pokerroom.com.
I paid like $30 bucks for a card they sent me. It only worked on ATMs never in stores or anything but that was ok.
As soon as I would cash out I would have my money on the card and go to the ATM a few minutes later with no problems.
So with this one do they mail you a new debit card everytime? or do they just like reload your account?
I"m curious, hoping my bovada check is real and clears the bank so I can sign up with some rakeback and try out this network.
Debit Cards are popular these days .It is opened with $25. Once approved, the card is sent to you and you can then use it to make purchases at retail outlets, or withdraw cash at your leisure. Min $50 - Max $2500, contact our support department at support@americascardroom to apply.

Rakeback is paid every Wednesday and your accrued Rakeback can be seen in the “Rewards” tab.
