Is there any way to get it (may be verification or smth.)?

2. Seal with Clubs - it is all about bitcoins which may cause huge problems soon cause I heard that it is used for criminal things and will be shut down soon. Anyway it is not safe to keep a bankroll there.
I also read that SWC is infested with multi-accounters; players sitting at the same table logged in with 2 users. Hence in hold 'em, they know 4 cards and get 2 seats. Tough to beat players like that.

Doesn't 5Dimes on the WPN and now equity network take anyone from any state?

Well, I'm convinced.

No I believe they exclude Maryland and perhaps others.

Great professional "response" as always Bobo. Since my "reading" this (SWC infested with multi-accounters) comes from reading about it on these very 2+2 forums, I guess what your dismissive comment intends to say is that the forums on 2+2 have no value. Yes I read it, here, and so posted what I 'heard.' A more constructive response or none at all is what I expect from an employee of 2+2.

I'm not paid to either post or moderate on the forum; if posters had to completely change the way they posted when they were modded, we wouldn't get many volunteer moderators.

Just thought it was funny you guys both come out with some pretty serious allegations and absolutely nothing substantial to back them up with. My "dismissive comment" says nothing about the value of the forums - you didn't say a word about where you got your info from, although even with a general source like "2+2 forums" doesn't change things much. It was meant to say something about the value of statements like "I heard that" and "I read that". But really, it was meant to be somewhat light-hearted as well; sorry it didn't come across that way to you.

Edit to add: Obviously his allegation was much more serious and vague; I've also read about people having MA concerns on SWC here. My comment was directed more at him than you.

Fair enough Bobo, I'm not looking to have a war and I do appreciate those who volunteer to MOD, even when they close one of my threads :-). My point was simply to throw what I heard out there for others to consider if they're going to play at SWC. I wasn't more detailed because I am not bothering to do more research on that site since I already know I don't want to play on a bitcoin site, especially one with traffic issues like SWC. I figure anyone who will consider playing there can take what I 'heard' into consideration as they do their own research and make their own choice.

I am fairly certain that similar statement exist on 2+2 about every poker site, as you said you didn't bother to do more research.

Bobo's sarcasm was perfectly appropriate.

Hey guys,

I'm living in California and I am interested in depositing on Bovada. Can someone give me a rundown on the pros and cons of this particular site? I'm looking for an opinion from another US player and their experience with Bovada (payouts, tourney's, bankroll considerations, rake back, etc.)

I'm not looking to mulit-table grind (maybe one to four table at a time), but to slowly build a roll while keeping my game fresh for live MTT's. I was playing on Club wpt, but the incentive there as well as the play, wasn't good at all.

Any helpful opinions would be awesome!

Pros - Softer fields, bigger MTT fields, quick payouts, no reentry (could be a 'con'), most traffic for US-friendly sites

Cons - 4 table limit (this is actually fine in your case), anonymous tables (could be a 'pro'), no loyalty/rewards program

Advice: Bovada sounds like a great option for you!.... If you are skeptical though, check out Carbon or Aced Poker.

*********** is like SwC with less Micon and a better cryptocurrency (dogecoin). I've seen several U.S. players from /r/poker on there.

Anonymous tables is more a "pro" than a "con" for beginners who don't have huge hand databases.
All players are equal so I consider that this unique feature makes Bovada the best option.

There are countless alt coins. But really only a few of them are worth anything. I don't think there are any major poker sites on anything but bitcoin or dogecoin. I think Seals with Clubs usually has about 200 players on and Poker Shibes has about 75.

In theory you could play at any of them from Boston. However, you may want to consider that you will not be able to cash out at some of them overseas when you move back as not all available sites service UK players.

"New York: WPN + Merge (certain zip codes only)"

Anyone know what zip codes specifically for Merge in NYC?

Of course it is great to use coins for immediate deposits/withdrawals but I think there is a big concern about their reliability. They are not regulated and the rate is set by a few exchangers.
So it is a big possibility that if 1 or 2 from these exchangers will shut down, these coins will become useless.

I just want to find our if somebody keeps at least $1K in coins?

my problem is i cant find a site with good low stakes 7stud 8-or better or O8.

Bodog is the only one, and they only have 7 8 or better, O8 is hit or miss

They should warn players about the table capping/bans happening on Merge. If I was a new player depositing a bankroll to get capped after a month would be pissed.

Merge and WPN spread 7stud/8 and 08 games. They don't get huge amounts of traffic, but there are some games that might exist to help supplement your lack of action.

Man... I really wanted to deposit like 50$-$100 online to play some microstakes but as I live in Maryland ... Unfortunately by reading through this thread it seems like it's kind of tough to play online poker in Maryland..... Are there ANY options available to me that will allow me to transfer money directly from my checking account?

THANK YOU

Directly from checking into a bit coin wallet, then seals with clubs.
( NO ONE has direct checking deposit in USA non regulated states )
