Yep.. That really is best solution

U get peak traffic at diff times, for diff games

Plus, in the event a site goes under, u don't lose ur entire roll

Grind several sites

All the major exchanges are outside the US (Slovenia, Russia, China). The best the US gov could do would be to prevent these exchanges from allowing US residents to use their services (like how DOJ stopped some US residents from playing on PokerStars but they continue in ROW). But the US has already given bitcoin the green light and companies like Coinbase, Bitpay, and many other domestic companies are completely legal.

To the end-user, they are exactly the same.

I Have been playing at bovada and so far I like the site. However, I was wondering if there is a better site for cash games. specifically NL holdem .25/.50 6 max.

It would depend entirely upon how you define "better" There are ways that Bovada games excel, softness for example, and ways that the games at other sites would beat Bovada. Higher rewards being one of them.

Please clarify

Well mostly softness. Bovada has pretty good traffic and soft games. I was just wondering if there are other sites that offer the same if not better. Also, are any sites that offer rakeback and also have soft games like Bovada. What do you mean by higher rewards?

Sites with rakeback aren't as soft, as more winning players flock to such sites. You are not going to find a site softer than Bovada in the US market. Seals With Clubs is rather soft, but has approximately 1/8th of the traffic.

The closest site in cash game volume to Bovada is The Winning Poker Network. There are great rewards there, however, the games are not nearly as soft.

With that said, both would be viable options.

Can anyone comment on which site has better PLO100-400 traffic, BCP or ACR? Thanks.

They're on the same network, so unless one of the sites has ring-fenced tables I'm unaware of, the traffic should be identical.

They are in fact exactly the same in all regards (games offered, promos, cashier, etc)

Last time I played at ACR (summer 2013) the SNG traffic was virtually nonexistent. Certainly not viable for someone looking to play 10+ games.

Is that still the case, or maybe like Andy Pettite, I'm misremembering...

The Sit and Crush (SNC) promotion was launched in Dec 13. Traffic has improved, though it won't blow your socks off or anything. Though as I keep telling guys, if you build it, they will come. i.e. there needs to be a couple more regs there seeding new games.

sng traffic isnt bad but it is 6 max DON super heavy, so unless u like 6 max dons, u may be better elsewhere or do like Khan said and try starting games. other games do run (hyper turbos, turbos) but the overwhelming favorite over there is 6 max DON

Maryland

I have a feeling its going to be another couple years before I see a decent (or any for that matter) option for online poker here.

Intertops might be an option for you if you can finagle an invitation out of someone. Other than that, you have Seals With Clubs and nothing else I'm afraid

I have been playing on bovada for some time now and I have no real complaints about the play or software or it "being rigged" I laugh at those who complain yet dump money... I like those people

I just feel... Left out? Especially as far as rake back and promotions go. It's cool they have random drawings to be sent to Dublin or the random box draw thing where you can win tournament tickets... Blah blah blah...

But I said a god damn, 1 point for every $3? Honestly, I'm not really sure how it works to this day and I've read and been explained it. I play 2/4 over 3-4 tables for about 4-5 hours everyday and I get poker points to show for it which I need like 30,000 of them for it to be worth a decent sized tournament ticket.

Just curious if there's any US poker sites that offer good rake back that the 2p2 community supports. Just read a thread about some dude losing his rake back money cause they decided to shut his account down on carbon/merge network

Should I just continue on bovada or spread it somewhere else?
Full flush poker?

Me is a scared

Did you read any of that thread besides the OP?

Edit: People that play on Bovada regularly don't play for the rakeback or promotions. If you're a low-mid rec player, then the promotions can be awesome when they have them, but otherwise, if you're a reg and if rakeback and promotions are your #1 criteria, then bovada isn't the place for you (and it's intentionally designed that way)
