I'm confused

I have two IP addresses for full tilt

91.211.98.20
50.17.223.71

I was able to access their site for a few minutes after getting home from work using Charter's DNS servers then suddenly got the FBI notice

If I try going to the site using IP instead of domain name I still get the same warning

If I change my DNS from Charter to openDNS I'm able to access the site

It would seem its more than just DNS block if I'm still unable to access the site by IP, however it is a DNS issue since I CAN access the site by using a different DNS server.... ??

Or does charter or my web browser do reverse dns lookups?

banks do the same thing. you deposit your $, the bank turns around and loans it out 10X, and invests it. when you want to withdraw it, they try to talk you out of closing your account every time. it's because they don't have everyones' $ anymore. it's called fractional reserve banking.

in other words: that $ does not exist, and it never existed.

Some thoughts on the situation: (mostly just my opinion).

the websites may be down across the world, DNS addresses lead to the site's IP address, and those DNS servers "fulltilt.com/etc" can be accessed by the US/are within the US/and have been changed to point to a shutdown notice by the FBI.

As far as the actual sites/servers/themselves for gameplay, it's not clear that the US government can access them as they are offshore and I'm not sure DNS is required for operation.

this is some corrupt bull****. 4 months ago they are trying to legalize it with their stupid blackout. Now the US government doesn't get their way so they bawwww and shut it down for good.
