not for many months if not years, a lot would have to happen

1st.
the trail needs to be won, will they request a speedy trail or push it out for 4 or 5 years

2nd.
or the US would have to gaming laws for poker and work out a deal with the poker sites for the laws they already broke

it just dont look good whats so ever, if I had to make a educated guess and on the fast side, probably 2 years

Huh? other than hassling poker players the Sothern District of NY's big thing is going after wall street crooks, they all cut deals. Like any DA they want to book wins. What did they get out of Netteller 150 million? This will be good for a billion.

I don't think this is about the taxes, also too many players to devote resources to collect

I read a post where a european player said he was playing and his table was full of Russians and obviously zero Americans. How sad our country has become the oppressive, communist state that we so despised.

Completely disagree. It's a easy slam dunk, if they have all your transaction info.

214k players on stars right now. Sunday warmup guarantee reduced from 750k to 500k and already beaten, 3000 signed up and plenty of time left. Volume down no more than 25-30%.

I reiterate, online poker and these major sites will survive without US players even if they never come back, and in the short term at least the games will be marginally easier.

Confirmed that like 80% of full tilts players are russian.

They are everwhere!

I'm wondering about that. I mean, the really good players are going to get Canadian bank accounts and VPNs, and they'll be back.

Joe Sixpack, losing his $100 every Friday night won't be.

That's got to make Tony G happy.
