In the last sentence of his interview he claimed that his father is a world famous artist.
google "trickett artist" and it's just wow.

He is a world famous "Dog Painter"
lolz or respect, donno what to say.

Trickett is a natural colorist with a great eye for composition and fell for atmosphere. These are qualities that have come from within and have not been influenced by art college. Indeed, the first time his publisher, Sally Mitchell met John Trickett she asked if he had been to art school. He replied that he had. The second time she met him he was with his wife and Sally asked, on this occasion, which art school he had been to. His wife exclaimed, "Oh John, you didn’t say you went to art school! You were only there for a morning, you left at lunchtime!".

Wives busting bluffs, -----> reason for divorce imo.

This Sam Trickett talks like anyone ever gave a **** about him..

"2) In the past couple of years you seem to be getting more attention from the media and general poker community. Do you think your results are beginning to speak for themselves and people are recognising your skills more?

Yes I had a decent year in 2008 and I showed that I had what it takes to compete at the highest level. I had a really quiet 2009 and the public wondered if I had just had a 2 month heater but I’m glad I have got some more big results and proven I’m not a one-hit wonder. Also playing on the TV and exposing my hole cards has helped a lot, people can see that I play a solid game."

lmao, "the public" don't even sit there and wonder what Daniel Negreanu or Doyle Brunson are up to... they might if your name is Phil Ivey or Tom Dwan... and this guy in 2008 did just WHAT exactly on the world scale of poker? lollll

"12) Did you have any opportunities to sweat the Durrrr / Ivey sessions that were going on there? Was there as much excitement there as there was with people following the news online or was it just another regular day in the Macau poker world?

Yes I have recently become friends with Tom and Phil so I sat and watched the HU match for an hour or so. It was a really good spot for Tom!!!!"

I'm pretty sure "Tom and Phil" do not count Sam Trickett as one of their friends... just saying HI to a star player and exchange a line or two then sweat their high stakes table which was in the open in Macau doesn't make you their friend duh.

then

Quote:
Yes in 2009 i lost 90% of my roll gambling on the tables and playing the $200/400 game on Full Tilt.
so losing 90% of your roll is a quiet 2009 ? lol

I think it's pretty clear that he had a quiet year live tourny wise and spunked it off playing cash and through bad habits. Fair enough the cash losses are recorded but there was no incentive to willingly own up to his degen habits so fair enough in my book.

Lol donakaments obv to rebink the roll back.

did I ever said anything about myself? no.

but we do know that you suck on Sam Trickett's nuts for a living so I guess that makes you as relevant as he is to the poker world.

These guys all play out of the same bankroll. The mission is take as much they can from the Chinese billionaire. It's funny that everyone assumes they are playing their own money. I don't care what's stated on here. They all play their own money in the Larry Flynt game too.
