It's obviously +EV for Ivey to have a piece of Dwan playing against a drunk chinese billionaire, and I'm pretty sure Dwan can't afford to play 5k/10k NL.

In b4 some idiot saying I have no idea of Dwan's finances...
Its not 5k/10K NL tho, all this is in HK so its alot less, someone else did the calculation a long time ago, but it isn't any higher then they normally play. (Or Only slightly higher)

Durrrr (only Matt Savage can get away with an extra r in the thread title lol) is/was playing 30k/60k HK which is roughly 4k/8k $US.

Dwan and Ivey are the f best. F everyone else seriously. They give action to the rich business men at the highest stakes, they play on HSP and entertain the fans.

They are the stone cold nuts.

Hi...just to respond. No.1 I'm not the card room manager. No.2 I've never posted any personal information about any of our players. I have been persistent in saying I am protecting the privacy of our players and their safety. So...I only posted "hands of the day".... That were big pots. And these posts were all after the game was played. As well I was given permission by players such as Chau Giang. But my posts will be limited soon, as the forum is drawing too much attention to our players and I would to show them the most respect. Thanks so much.

There's too much money at risk to allow anything dodgy to go on. You're not going to get cheated by the casino, there's strict rules in place and the gaming inspectors (DICJ) make sure that everthing's done to rule.

The casinos all use Hong Kong Dollars for gambling, the highest denomination is $1000 HKD (about $130 USD). And credit accounts are widely used in the gaming industry.

The Venetian Macau is the 5th largest building in the world, with more floorspace than the Pentagon. Grand Lisboa is also gigantic and a very "interesting" architecture. Wynn's and Encore also take up a huge city block. Recently City of Dreams opened in Cotai, it's another megasized resort-style property. There's another big property opening next year called Galaxy Resort which is going to have something like 6 swimming pools on top of the casino, it's enormous. There's not as many different casinos as in Vegas but what there is, is gigantic.

How do I think the rich guys spend their time? Playing nosebleed poker, eating ultra-expensive food and drinking in exclusive private rooms in the karaoke bars. Just speculation of course. I don't think they'd own any lions, tigers or bears but I'm pretty sure that if you questioned an average Chinese billionaire, he'd have eaten some part of all those animals.
The Grand Lisboa interesting architecture? Imo that building is the the ugliest thing Ive ever seen, not too mention it has the most hideous interior decoration out of anywhere, super tacky.

Have the casinos over there considered using real US Dollars instead of that mickey mouse money? Would make it much easier on us forum railbirds.
