Michael Borovetz, I believe he tried to scam me at McCarran Airport 6-22-14 Michael Borovetz, I believe he tried to scam me at McCarran Airport 6-22-14

A few fallacies of Paigow.

When you do win a hand you pay 5% for the privilege to do so.

Therefore every 20 hands you win you actually have paid one entire bet in commission.

That proposition seems daunting, yet along with that, the house wins all ties.

Ace x is a common top hand and every time you and the banker have the same ace x you lose.

In California along with all that you pay a per hand fee just for the honor of playing.

It's a great game - as long as you don't have to lie/cheat/steal to get money to play with...

What other aspects of his life would lead you to believe that he'd make the +EV decision when it comes to picking a game to gamble on?

Actually from what I've heard those who have met him at the poker table have universally thought he was a rude dick.

Well sure, when you can play a ton of tournaments because you don't have to worry about money because you can just steal more, its easy to do well in at least a few.

Those didn't really seem like fallacies to me.

I've played in Washington State with no commission, which when combined with the slower speed and the ties make it a fine table game for a night's worth of play.

So, when you call the five points that you made fallacies, you are saying that they are untrue. Correct?

fallacy |ˈfaləsē| noun (pl. fallacies)
a mistaken belief

This coming from a guy who plays video poker. LOL

FYI - the random generator is NOT so random in the computer chip

It's hard to know mike's level of profit or loss without knowing what events he played. Some people with his results are decent winners some are down a ton.

Mike's whole plan is flawed. He wants a big score so he can quit gambling? He wont. If he had this mind set he would have quit when he won the 150k. Or at least used it for something other than the pit.

not exactly...he did not have that mindset back then...this thread has helped him realize he needs to change...hopefully he will change...thats why some people on this thread are encouraging/helping him to change....however, i dont quite uderstand the haters or their motivations.oh, wait...never mind this is a poker site. tht explains it...the haters say it is bad to be a rude dick to the dealers, but then they are a rude dick to him.doesnt seem right...oh wait...these are poker people.that explains it.

Mizrach could turn Bovoretz into some cool dude who spends his money on chicks and pai gow. Even if he is fat and ugly and just spends his money on pai gow.

A SrslySirius song about how much of a degenerate Mike is taking into account all his criminal and fraudulent acts not to mention his feelings that he seems to be above criticism.

So there is the challenge to SrslySirius and also to others to help write the lyrics.
+1, would love to hear a SrslySirius tune about Pai Gow tiles and airport scams.

-You fail to mention that in Pai Gow, YOU can be banker and win those pushes. On more than one occasion I have played heads up vs a dealer where I was dealer every other hand. It cuts that disadvantage in half.

In Nevada casinos it's an entertaining game but in California it stinks because of the per hand fee and the house doesn't bank it, "the syndicate" does and it's sketchy as hell

Mike, if you do fabricate a rape scene, please make it from a cell mate named Lou.

Bonus points for incorporating "grease is my friend!" Into the dialogue.

If you do decide to scam again, i recommend you build up the roll and just go play poker rather than the pits. But if you decide to go to the pits try Baccarat or the Roulette wheel.
You sound like a real quality person, your friends are lucky to have you.

Time to say it.

Last one out, turn out the lights and lock the door, this thread is no longer productive.

It's incredibly insane that a person posts something to warn others of a crook/scammer only to see the accused post a response admitting it but hijacking the thread to use it as a self promotional, delusion-laced monologue.

One thing I never considered is ... maybe this guy MB is deliberately trying to make the thread go on for a million pages so that the real issue gets lost for future searches? I'm not an expert on google's algorithm but there could be a technical motivation wrt Internet search engines?

The mods should just keep up the OP and the Borovetz reply admitting he is a crook. Then, move the rest to an archive or something.

in the main nvg forum there are columns and one of them is "Replies", this thread has a statistic under that column and you can click on that number and it shows who posted and how many times, mike has posted the most itt and you can then click the number next to his screen name and that'll take you to a page filtered to show only the posts mike made in this thread!

anyway, since mike's 2+2 screen name was figured out within the first few posts after the OP, and since the feature i just explained is available on the site, i respectfully disagree with your lock filter and archive proposal.

You're assuming everyone is like you and knows all of that. People not as familiar with all those features will just get lost in all of this. But your point is well taken. Maybe the best method is not to lock a thread but rather forming a new "Wall of Shame" type of section where mass public of poker and non-poker public should see the faces of those scammers.

Or just start a site that summarizes scammers. It could be like the Facebook of scammers. Maybe even have a catchy name like ScamFace. We'll think of something.
