I don't feel like that...but I am apprehensive to get excited, and a bit fearful of bad news, because of all the times I got excited for good news that never came or was instead unexpected bad news.

I think at this point we all have a bit of experience/perception bias based on the royal rape rodeo we've been apart of.

On a side note, my vote is for "Green Monday/Tuesday" if we in fact get good news that I'm hoping for. We should keep "White Whatever-day" for when the Prohibition of Online Poker ends in the U.S., as Black Friday was essentially when the Prohibition Hammer came down in action. I know it affected the ROW too, don't get me wrong, but BF wasn't the day when we all found out our funds were in total and utter jeopardy (although some may have realized it before others).

I think everyone here should pick a worthy charity and donate half of their full tilt money to it. Perhaps this ordeal has given a sense of empathy that we all didn't have before?

1. I had my address officially changed to Canada from the US just 2 days before FTP was shutdown. Should I be hoping I am treated as a part of the US, or that I'm from the ROW?

2. Over 1/3 of my equity in FTP is from FTP pts, medals, Ironman, etc. Getting nothing for all that work would really suck. I consider it money, just the same as I would bonus points on my Chase Freedom credit card or whatever.

FYP.

As long as criticism doesn't cross the line it's fine, as anyone with a functioning brain can tell from the long and sordid history of this thread. You're entitled to your opinions and to post them. Even about DF, who has had plenty of criticism flung her way (and some stuff that crossed the line into pointless flaming/attacks).

You did come off as pretty shrill and jealous yourself there, though. Take a chill pill, indeed.

+1 on question 2. Also interested on question 1.

If poker fuse wants to get credit for good things they need to do what Noah had done and put a face to its site. I mean really who knew that a site run by 2+2ers even existed? It's easy to spout rumors when you don't have to be accountable because you are anonymous.
I agree with your point and I think it's very understandable that we are "lumped in" with other sites. And in a way we should be: you have to earn respect and readers are rightfully skeptical of any site.

However, we aren't faceless. All our articles are published under real names, and we have bios for all writers. My bio references my 2+2 name, and I'm a professional poker player, video maker for a training site, coach, and software developer, and i've been part of the community here for over eight years. Both Mike and I were in Vegas over the WSOP to meet people. We were both at the 2+2 meet with pokerfuse t-shirts on!

But ultimately it comes down to earning reader's respect. I see we have with some (thanks to everyone for their kind comments), and have more to win over. And that's all good.

I had no idea. I'll check out the site today. Other than your tweets I didn't really know much about poker fuse. Getting the word out like you are doing now is a good idea.

Would appreciate fresh cliffs regarding the response to yesterdays rumour that deal is done.

This is just wrong. Sometimes its 100% better to be first and this is one of those times. If the deal is done say its done and if its not 'done' say its like 99% done and tell us whats going to happen on Monday that we all need to be cliffhanged and slowrolled for 2 days. Sometimes its better to stick your neck out a little bit (like Wendeen has done) and take a risk by being bold then sitting back playing it safe waiting for 100% details...

HEY DF, do me a solid and tell me AEJones' source is wrong. TY!

So it seems, if this is true, that it will work almost exactly like the PS cash outs. Where you log into the client and request a cash out and, maybe, based on balances you will have different withdrawal options.

Remove these stupid cliffs. No one knows any of this to be true. Someone reads this first it starts dumb rumors.

This is so sweet. I love you, Wendeen!

any idea what will happen with money that was "cashed out" but was never received? i remember that the money was no longer listed as in my account because i had cashed it out but clearly cashouts never went through for a while before black friday

How many times do you think 'deal is 99% done' could have been said, or has been said throughout this whole ordeal??

If it's not fully done then I don't see the point of saying 'it's 99% done'. Its the most stupid thing anyone can say. I know this is NVG, but when it comes to this kind of huge deal, the facts are the most important thing. So lets just be a little bit more patient.

We don't want to hear deal is done 80%, 90% or 99%. WE WANT THE DEAL IS NOW 100% COMPLETE, and here are all the facts....
