Danny statements are getting pretty silly now.

The claims that Ivey was the only one to make a statement.........

errrr......... Tom Dwan.......... Even PA had more to say than Ivey........

Dannys hypocrytical BS is unreal.

One minute he bangs on about the silence of the pros, then he praises his bud Ivey for being the "only one" to make a statement.

What about Dannys buds Harmon and E-dog........

We have no idea what Iveys involvement was.

Hard to believe a major shareholder had no clue about anything.

What we do know is Ivey claimed he wouldnt play the WSOP until players were payed.

Turns out that was more BS.

All the FTP pros silence is basically supporting Howard, Jesus and Bitar.

Unless........... some knew more than they claim and were involved more than they would like everyone to believe.

They took the dirty money and now have nothing to say.

Shame on them and anyone who defends them.

Reporting live from the rio at the wsop. Hate to break the news but after talking to tons of people here about the whole FTP mess seems most don't give a ****. A good amount of people here don't even know exactly what happened. In my opinion it's only a matter of time before lederer and ferguson are walking these halls with no problem just like Ivey. I give up. Sorry but we all lost our money with No shot of getting much back in my opinion I'm done posting in this thread or reading it. Pm me if anyone has any serious questions.

Whew, it's a good thing we can still PM you, it would be such a loss to be without your wisdom.

There were 3-4 guys on FT I knew were getting credit before the play on finger thingie became public. Benyamine was one of them. And how someone like Benyamine could get credit (for 7 digits) in the first place is mind-boggling.

Moneys gone. Perhaps there will be some new "breaking news" the day stars walks away from the deal to keep us quiet for another 6 months. Hope all the people with major interest in FTP have managed to move on with their lives by now.
06-23-2012 , 12:27 AM
If pokerstars backs out we will probably hear rumors that (insert major B+M casino) is in talks to buy ftp ...

My point being, if PS backs out that's all she wrote... If all she wrote wasn't months ago ;p

I think I can hear a fat lady... Idk if she's singing or not but.... definitely making some sort of noise though.

the fat lady is prob farting
06-23-2012 , 01:16 AM
i can agree w/ that... if PS backs out or doesn't work out, its over. but we don't have any reason to think they've backed out.

For the Ivey nut huggers. Don't you think for one minute that he(as an owner and player) who was making milllions upon millons from ftp that he should be held a tad bit responsible for players funds?

It's not like we are holding up some broke dick tom to some high standards regarding theft from players. This dick head walks around like the arrogant prick he is with no regard to his former customers and the money they lost and the effect it had on their lives.

He continues to chuck it up at the tables with his cronies.

fu Ivey.

The most amazing thing to me is that not one dime has been returned to players nor have there been any arrests. At this point how can you have one without the other?

For God's sakes start arresting lesser principals if that's what it's going to take to get people to talk. It's absolutely mind boggling Lederer and Ferguson aren't in jail.

Even more mind boggling are the people playing WSOP events right next to guys that are VERY good friends with Lederer and Ferguson and don't have the balls to ask them what's up.

/rant

Ps hope you guys get paid soon!

This!!! OMG yes this!
Doesn't matter whether he knew or not. Acting like nothing has happened at all is pathetic

I'd like to know this aswell.
Oh and welcome back to YOUR thread man

Still don't understand one thing.

FTP had 6M left roughly a year ago.
It took about 15M a month just to keep the Dublin office running.
So they could only pay for less than two weeks.

Who paid for it the rest of June? And July? And August? And up untill now?

No doubt they cut down on expenses drasticly, but that is still a huge investment.
With all the surviving companies it must be over 100M by now and counting.

Where is all that money coming from and why

I agree totally. Whether they knew or not they should start issuing arrest warrants for faces of FTP .
Maybe that would light a fire under their butts. They have been quiet too long.

Arrest warrants require a crime to charge them with, and something called probable cause. "Don't know if you knew anything, but we want to light a fire under your butt and find out" isn't gonna cut it.

Question - when you say "guys are sitting right next to good friends of Lederer and Furgeson and don't have the balls to ask them what's up" do you have a source for this?

Say I sit down next to Ivey tomorrow. I ask him wtf is going on with FTP. He says he can't talk about it/doesn't know anything. Conversation over.

Do you know this isn't happening? Just because it's not escalating to a fistfight and making the 11 o'clock news doesn't mean people aren't asking.

Also, what do you suppose the odds are that you say, "Hey man, I know you know Lederer pretty well, what's going on with FTP?" and the guy just spills his guts with legit information?

In B4 I'm an "Ivey nuthugger" for not suggesting escalating to physical violence and or/getting thrown out by security.

Serious question: Do you really think that is how arrest warrants/the legal system works?

if you could start a popular online poker room and get hundreds of millions of dollars, then just disappear to a secluded island with hookers and blow, would you do it??
honestly, do you guys think that these owners even care that their name is tarnished when they just pulled the biggest slowroll of all time?

i bet if 2+2 did a anonymous poll asking if we would do what they did and have no extreme repercussions (jail time), over 70% would answer **** YES. money ruins all
06-23-2012 , 07:55 AM
Like I said before, Ftp had a marketshare of 20%, two on every table, hundreds every tourney, that's a small army. I hate slowrolling, but it's a war, everything legal is allowed. So slowroll them for 5 minutes everytime you have a hand. Say something about FTP every 5 minutes. Buy a drink for everybody at the table and say to the waiter "except for the thief at seat number 5". Turn them into outcasts.

Awesome idea. Make everyone at the table miserable.

BTW, drinks are complimentary at the table.

It doesn't matter to me if Ivey did or did not know what was going on inside FTP. Fact is he has our money in his pockets. But this idea that he knew nothing is so ridiculous. He (and the other owners) had a percentage in a billion dollar company. Wouldn't he then at least have a look at the annual reports. A 10-year-old would see the numbers don't add up.

IDK, I have never seen the "annual reports". If Ray wrote them, maybe they were pure fiction, just like the ones he manufactured for Alderney.

You claim something as a "fact", and yet, there NO legal charges even filed against Ivey. Even a 9-year old would see that something doesn't add up in your analysis.

I'd think he has to have done something wrong to be blamed... Taking earned payments from an apparently flourishing company isn't wrong. Any one of us who cashed out did that... Imagine five years back, Rafael nadal had signed on with full tilt and they gave him a 3% ownership stake for doing so. He repped them in ads, in person,, and in poker and tennis tournaments. Black Friday then happens and we are where we are now. You seriously gonna blame rafe?

If he knew something was up or was in a position where he could have or should have known, then blame him. But maybe wait til we know if he was deceived or if he was deliberately indifferent or if he had actual knowledge before judging.

Even then, what could he have done to this point to make it right? Pay out 10% of everyone's br for the 10% of dividends he received? Doing anything before this is resolved seems practically and legally impossible.

Excellent idea. Make sure the pros are sober at a poker table full of players who are drinking. That will teach them a lesson.

PS: Make sure the drinks are strong and keep them coming all night. That way the pros will remember the table for a long time.
