I don't understand how anyone ever thought that an Elky tweet about pokerstars.fr had anything to do with FTP.

I'm not at a pc at the moment but I promise to re-read and find earlier posts of yours that led me to make my post. If I read them wrong I will write an apology in response to your post. It is not or never was my intention to slander you.

Can I ask if this nda you signed affects the way you share information?

Like your other posts, of which I quoted many, that have misstated facts about me, I would like you to provide some proof where I said I ever signed any NDA with respect to my reporting.
Feel free to add that to your response in the other thread, when you get to a pc.

What do you gain from all the work you do? Are you trying to start a career and this is your way in or do you just enjoy being a poker journalist ?

Please let these Trolls go DF, you are talking to folks whose first language is Jabberwocky and whose main pleasure is starting fires.

I gain nothing, nor did S:P, in fact its been costly both in time and money. I have no interest in becoming a professional journalist, poker or otherwise. IMO, the community deserves to have information. I've been fortunate to make some reliable contacts that help that to happen. Just trying to see this thru.

I am guessing 99.9% of people here are grateful for the work you have put in DF and here's hoping you get to write the happily ever after endgame story to this debarcle!

Sir/madam, Diamond Flush has done stuff for the poker community a few would be able to. Your ~trolling, albeit entertaining in the FTP thread, is inappropriate and plain annoying in this instance. There are MANY different ways to stand out form "the crowd", but it's a bit short-sighted that you choose to do it in such manner. Please remember, the most of us are following the same goals - the positive resolution of the whole FTP saga.

Edit: Balded: too many tabs open - thought I'm posting in the "Big News" thread. Still doesn't change anything I said.

For which many of us are sincerely thankful.

P.S. imho, if there is anyone who can (and really SHOULD) write a book at the end of it all, it should be you and Knowah. Please consider? It's win-win-win for all (except Ray & co. obv).

Seriously, **** the haters. You've been doing Gods work, 99% of us are thankful for what you do

Yeah, some of them have nothing better to do than blow time on here that could be better spent helping the cause like you have.

Keep it up.

On another note: Full tilt coming back potentially excites me.

Your recent blog post spells out how bad the GBT would have been for ROW players. Indicating that it could take years for them to be able to clear their accounts to withdraw their money. That there was even a possibility that players would only be able to cash out what they deposited and not their winnings.

While nothing was mentioned about US players, reading between the lines where GBT wanted ROW players to file claims against the DOJ it's possible US players weren't in a much better situation.

Since it's been claimed you've actually seen at least one incarnation of the DOJ/GBT agreement and you've mentioned that you don't publish blog posts without thoroughly researching the topic, sometimes spending months on the matter, you've probably known about how crappy the deal has been for players for quite some time.

While everyone here has been jumping up and down with anticipation of the GBT deal going through, waving french flags and scribbling "I <3 Tapei" in the margins of their textbooks, you and your sources didn't feel the need to inform the community that hey, the deal isn't that great for players and the only people that will see immediate relief will be the owners of FTP that will have their civil cases resolved.

The most vocal source in the media concerning the GBT negotiations was Tapei and his attorney and it's clear now that they didn't have, or weren't willing to put up the money necessary that would secure a deal that would make players whole.

They were pumping up the deal through the media to get attention to help bring in the investors that they needed to complete the purchase.

Maybe the GBT deal seemed like the best option for players at the time but that's no excuse to not be honest with players.
