Seems pretty optimistic considering durrrr has done just slightly more than nothing with regards to the challenge since FTP came back up.

Funniest part is durrrr was the one that talked jungle into playing him in the challenge. Before the challenge jungle was seemingly happy just 4 tabling him at 100/200 whenever durrrr was free and durrrr said something along the lines of...if we are gonna play all these hands anyway you might as well just take the challenge. What a joke.

So durrr saved money by taking the challenge!

Durrrr appears to making every effort to get out of the remainder of the challenge by going on the offensive against JM, Ike, etc (see June HS thread). For instance, he keeps harping on 100k that he loaned JM that JM didn't pay back quickly enough for his liking. At this point, Durrrr is down essentially ~2.5M (cash losses + likely side bet loss) in the challenge. The 100k represents such a small fraction of the total cash at risk in the challenge that it confuses me as to why he would even mention it except to develop a straw man argument as to why he is not obligated to continue the challenge.

Let's remember, durrrr is the one who issued the challenge. He is the supposed "Professional." He should be making every effort, regardless of the loss of equity or inconvinience to himself, to finish the challenge.

I would urge durrrr to offer a million as a buy-out to JM, admit that he does not want to complete the challenge and go on his merry way. The drama is absurd.

No what he's saying is (and I'm not discussing the validity of the argument here, just stating what he is actually saying) that he "loaned" Jungle 100k and jungleman didn't seem to pay back so he thought jungleman couldn't play 200/400 since he couldn't pay back the 100k and he would have considered himself rude if he had asked jungleman to play since the non payback meant in his mind that it was obvious jungleman didn't have the roll to play at these stakes.

That combined with the fact that he doesn't really like jungleman for reasons he mentioned already (him costing him equity by talking about the challenge before it was announced by FTP, him badmouthing durrr etc...) + he's got other things going on explains why they didn't play a lot when FTP went back up. That's the gist of his defense. I don't know if it's that valid or not but let's get the facts straight.
