He's certainly spiteful enough to do it. But he never even wanted to be president, maybe king, but not the checks and balances and investigations and due process thing. There isn't going to be a Trump party. Trump did serve a useful purpose as at the very beginning he tapped into the angst of "Red" America and their feelings of being left behind by the democrat party and he transformed it into a very significant movement.
When Biden reopens the southern border and increases competition of the lowest wage jobs in the country he is only going to strengthen the deplorable army.
The party of Davos doesn't give two poops on a rainy day about the lower middle class (or the muscular class as Victor Davis Hanson calls them) as long as they get their cheap labor. They don't care if the cheap labor is in the form of deplorables or Lao Baixing from China... as long as they can keep wages depressed they are joyous.
A young good looking highly educated rebub is going to pick up this mantle and be virtually unbeatable.
Had Trump gotten very ill with Covid and Pence been moved to the top of the ticked he would have jogged to victory.... he would have gotten a few of the suburban women Trump turned off and all of the "establishment" R/ Lincoln Project types without losing a single deplorable.
A guy like Josh Hawley might be a very tough out.....
