-Would be nice to see the tables we're already on highlighted again.
-A join wait list button from the lobby would be nice.
-Still wish we could see who is at a table listed in the lobby without having to open the table like we used to be able to.
YES to all of the above. These are essential in my opinion.
I would bet my roll that if you polled the community enough to come to a general consensus of what constitutes the basic and fundamental functions of an online poker lobby,
ALL of these would be described as standard, indispensable and treated more like an unalienable component than a useful feature.
I'm a fan of the new look overall and I do give BOL almost all of my online volume, but the lobby NEEDS to preview who's at a table and let us sit/waitlist a table via a button in the lobby. If this to fight scripting (which I assume it is) it is not working and doing more harm via inconvenience and annoyance (It tilted me hard this morning resulting in some plays I really regret, not even kidding! ) than it is good.
Question for Mike: Are the people in charge of deciding on and carrying out updates and changes actual poker players with a poker background or do they have a background and focus on sportsbetting?
The reason I ask is that I can tell there has been a true attempt to improve the player experience and build traffic on the site but some of the changes recently are completely the opposite of what I would expect someone with a poker background to do.
