Leo has been on already but I would like a podcast with Thuritz for sure. Pretty sure Otb will make himself public to the whole community so this year could be a chance to get the man on. Think an Isildur pod will never happen especially seeing as he's no longer in the UK.

Viktor has been able to make it up to HSNL in less than a couple years when people thought that it couldn't be done anymore

Read something about dan smith and wcg propbetting, could someone either send the specific time where they came up with the bet or explain me what they were betting on, last longer in the 25k?

They "cross booked" 25% of a recent $25K Aria High Roller. Neither cashed so the bet made up at $0.
(cross booking is different to "swapping equity")

Cross booking is where you have to pay the other player the amount that they cash for and they have to pay you the amount that you cash for, so it is the ultimate "I'm better than you" ego side bet between two players playing in the same poker tournament, albeit they did it for 25% of their cashing amounts, not for 100%.

I'm pretty sure that this was the comp http://pokerdb.thehendonmob.com/event.php?a=r&n=398757 won by David Peters for $293K, so if anyone had cross booked 25% with him and not cashed themselves they would have had to pay David Peters $73K.

JFC how much are these DFS guys making? Dan Smith's charity is just DFS pro's dumping $$ for tax write offs and they raised $1.7 million. $700k came from two pro's who are brothers - papagates and chipotleaddict. The top .5% of the DFS player pool is making obscene money. I'm sure people like Dan and Timex are making more from the DFS world than they did during poker, and that says a lot considering they were top earners from poker. Seeing this charity and the pro's firing off donations caused me to cashout my DK bankroll LOL I have no shot.

Can you explain how these tax writeoffs work?

Say I earn $300K and am supposed to pay $100K tax and can keep $200K. If I give $20K to charity and write it off how much tax do I end up paying and how much of my income can I keep?
