Really enjoyed the 'Max Silver confesses all' podcast. Also great to see he is just as terrible at shoutouts as me.

OMG that rant on tournament players was hilarious

"they are charging their moms 1.75 markup for a $275 deepstack"

Haha that quote alone has convinced me to watch the Max Silver podcast, that's awesome. He's always seemed like a good dude to me.

Btw Max if you happen to read this (I didn't really know where to send this feedback and can't remember who you are on 2p2), I really like your app SnapShove but there's one thing that really annoys me, which is the timer running in the game mode and measuring your score. This is mainly because

1) In real-life scenarios you always have at least 15 seconds to act, and training yourself to make decisions in 0,0001 seconds seems pointless
2) It's super annoying how the timer keeps running between hands when the program shows the correct range. This should be the best part of the game, you get to see what exactly is the bottom range for each push, but you can't take a look because you need to stop the timer from running down.

I'd like to have a quiz mode similar to the game, but that doesn't leave you in a rush. This would be the most effective way for light studying - for example if I have 20 mins to kill on a train or whatever, I like to toy around with the app, but it takes too much time to set up scenarios yourself by inputting everyone's stacks etc and you can only do one hand at a time like that. Having a game mode that shoots a hand after another at you is great, but having the timer running removes any chance of actually learning pretty much completely.

And yes, I know it's obviously possible to just do the game mode 10 hands at a time and not care about the timer/score, but as a competitive person it's just so damn irritating to see the timer running that I'm completely unable to ignore it.

Otherwise it's a really great app tho.

/sorry for OT

I couldn't get past the first few minutes of the stealthmunk pod. Joey asks him a couple questions and stealthmunk struggles to stay focused or just answers the questions really vaguely. It seemed as though it was going to be a pod where joey has to almost interrogate stealthmunk to get him to open up and talk confidently. To be fair to munk he did admit he probably wouldn't be a very good guest within the first minute.

That's a great description of the first few minutes of the stealthmunk podcast. It would also be a horrible description of the last hour-and-a-half.

Hey Chuck,

Thanks for the feedback, these are some great points and I think you're right, having the timer doesn't add much.

I've actually completely redone training mode for the latest release coming very soon, just ironing out a couple bugs, and I think this might make the update.

Glad you liked the podcast,

Max

Going to make this my master list, in no particular order, partially to answer your question and partially for me to have a list to go off of for rewatches. Full disclosure I'm primarily a NLHE guy, and tend to show slight favor to the pods I thought were the most informative and interesting about poker related things, and less so to the pods that were more "fun" and focused more partying or whatever. Also I never watched any pods with women because I didn't feel any of them were good enough at poker to learn anything useful.

Definitely this. I was in tears with the ecstasy story and his 8 am booty call bit. Was very captivated with many of the stories he had. Props to Papi and David for throwing down a solid pod.
