I think so, two thirds of the way through the pod and joey has already been denied trying to visit his Island, coach him in PLO and set up a propbet with him. Does Perkins even know how famous joey is?

Pod with Perkins was amazing! I used to think he was kind of a tool just from watching the big game etc.. (sample size, i know) and he just crushed it so hard on the pod, I had to remind myself to not instantly judge people. It was absolute gold and I agree with a ton of stuff BP had to say.

BTW, Joey, good job on just letting him flow for a long time. Think it was the best way to get the maximum out of this podcast

Perkins podcast was definitely my favorite so far, it's the first one I've seen that I will pass the link along to non-poker people. His attitudes and opinions were very honest and refreshing, and he seems like a really good dude overall.

I had misjudged him regarding all of his prop bets. I think it is cool that he genuinely gets utility from giving people the opportunity to improve their lives -- whether it's getting a random tattoo for significant monetary gain or something fitness/no smoking related that is clearly going to pay dividends. On the surface it can appear as douchey throwing around of money, but it was clear after listening to him that it goes beyond that.

I was curious what other people thought about the integrity bit. Do you make a distinction between things that are personal vs. interpersonal (his examples, telling yourself you'll wake up at 6am and workout vs. keeping integrity in a relationship by not cheating)? It seemed like he didn't really make a distinction, so both of them are a hit to personal integrity. I would think that the thing that also materially impacts another person (ie, cheating on your girlfriend) would be much more important for integrity.

The whole burn rate discussion was interesting, but I would have liked to hear him discuss weighing enjoying his money vs. leaving lots for his kids and/or donating to charitable causes he's passionate about. I understand either viewpoint and I'm not taking either side, just would have liked to hear his thoughts on it.

Lastly, here is the link to "The Great Porn Experiment" that he brought up: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wSF82AwSDiU. It's a really good watch and will probably convince at least some people to change their ways.

Good stuff papi keep it coming (insert witty masturbation prop bet pun)

After listening I think it's safe to say that Blitz has probably had sex with over 5,000 women.... maybe he's got Wilt Chamberlain beat who claimed 10,000

Last two podcasts with mike and Perkins were super GTO. Both I felt had opposite approaches and were very equally inspirational.

Just caught the last segment of the Q&A in the absence of guest.

Honestly think you haven't made a mistake by not getting sponsored or monetizing pod. Those saying you might have made an error of judgement in turning down offers could wrong uknow. Credibility is worth wayy more in value then a few bucks from a Sponsor.

Really wanna see you strip content away from twitch, youtube and start placing it on your own website like the one above, ask someone who understands business like Perky why you should do this.

Perkins was by far my favorite so far, wise man. The more interesting people to me seem to be the ones who aren't just playing poker

Took me a moment to realize he hadn't actually done a podcast with Perky. Calling Perkins, Perky, is as bad as calling Jungleman, Jman.

Bill Perkins has been referred to as Perky for years in the public world. Relax.

Papi, I don't see much love ITT for Keeping up with the Pokers, but I'm enjoying the hell out of you and Adrian chatting it up. Reminds me of the times when you would jump on his Twitch streams. Twitch Poker would be a good topic for the next EP, we want Beck's Fenix back!

As far as podcast guest, I would like to see David Einhorn on. He would without a doubt have good business and life knowledge for the pod, and does a lot of great charity work. If you can get Colman on, then Einhorn is no prob. #OneTimeEinhorn!

Please ignore my the post above Papi.

I don't see much love ITT for Keeping up with the Pokers, but I'm enjoying the hell out of you and Adrian chatting it up. Reminds me of the times when you would jump on his Twitch streams. Twitch Poker would be a good topic for the next EP, we want Beck's Fenix back! For Keeping up with the Pokers, I would like to see, more news on what Adrian is up to, will he be on Twitch regularly, will he play on Stars in Canada, move to the States to grind the US sites, or move to Columbia to be with the wifey. What's up with Esko? I would like to know more about your PLO grind. Are you going to Canada, moving to CA, what sites are you playing on? A blurb about how the Fedor bet is going would be great. You already booked so is it easy for you, how many more chess partners have you added, things like that?

Two cents time: Please keep the setup that you had with Mr. Perkins (in my top three of Pods). I admire your talent to put up with all of the BS that you go through with the chat, and it adds to the transparency when you can see the questions that you do and don't answer from chat. I'm more engaged because I don't just turn on the Pod and do other stuff. I actually watch all of your videos on Youtube. If you ever do monetize on Youtube, this is important to make sure eyeballs are staying on the screen. I know that you did time stamps before, and I think everyone would enjoy if that was the norm. I know that it is hard work and dedication though; I'm just an outsider looking in so I have no clue about what you are trying to get out of the site.

As far as podcast guest, I would like to see David Einhorn on. He would without a doubt have good business and life knowledge for the pod, and does a lot of great charity work. If you can get Colman on, then Einhorn is no prob. #OneTimeEinhorn!

Good pod with Charlie! Great story of how he came up through the ranks. I liked a lot of what he said about a lot of things.

I do think though that he is a bit sensitive about the Doug stuff. I don't think the teacher/nurse analogy is that relevant as nurses and teachers are basically working together for a common goal, whereas poker players are working against each other in a specifically competitive environment/workplace. It is a lot more okay to call a fellow poker player bad at their job than it is for a teacher to do the same. Having said all that, Doug can be insensitive and Charlie's point is there. I remember the Wilhasha stuff. That was kind of nasty and relentless and for no reason. He could probably tone himself down and show less naivety in certain spots, but overall I don't think his antics are so bad as to in any way overwhelm his positives.

Not sure I agree that Sorrel is aware! He is smart and complex and aware on some primitive box ticking level where he try's to convince himself and others that he understands the consequences of his actions on other people, but really he doesn't understand that well at all. 2/cent

Joey, I'm sure this has been asked many times, but maybe talk to some Swedes and try to get Wilhasha. I doubt he would show his face, but maybe he could just chat? He did so before on another podcast a few years ago. Would be a sick guest for sure.
