I think they close pre-reg 2 weeks before an event.

"The WSOP also accepts pre-registration for any bracelet event up to 14 days prior to the start of an event, as this ensures your seat will be reserved regardless if an event is sold out."

sorry, i'm talking about going up to the cage, say 2 days before the event, to register via cashiers check. is this even possible?

Also, hoping for some advice. Im coming in on the 1st and definitely staying to the 8th. I am then considering flying to meet my family for vacation, or staying at wsop. This is all dependent on how well I am playing/feeling. What would be the cheapest way to book? I would like a decent room with two beds, but it doesnt have to be spectacular. I was going to book Palms Place through LSI, but since the family vacation guilt trip has been laid upon me, that doesnt seem like an option anymore. I guess I would like to stay in a normal hotel for the first 8 days, and then if I dont fly out, then ill book something nicer for the remainder of the series. Can I still get a poker rate anywhere? What would you guys do in my situation? Any tips would be greatly appreciated!
