I obv understand its bc Harrahs wants the majority of the field to be stuck in Vegas as long as possible but someone in the PAC should object that it makes much more sense to have a day off in the end than having 2-3 days off between Day1 and 2 and 1-2 days between Day2 and 3. All my friends have told me how tired they were at the end and ended up making a lot of mistakes bc of that. You can really see some obv ones in the coverage aswell and I think its ridic considering how much prestigue/money thats in that tournament.

Because I am an old jaded New Yorker, I find virtually everything about summer in Las Vegas detestable. Rather than focus on the hundreds of things about the place that infuriate me, here's a few good things:

-Bowling at the Gold Coast. After midnight it's $1 per game and $1 per beer. Prop bets will ensue.

-Afterhours at the Artisan. If it's your thing, this is a great place to get completely mangled and listen to the crappy electro-house that Vegas DJ's favor (these guys are still miles better than the clowns the big clubs book). Might be the last party in Vegas where anyone has the foggiest clue what's going on. Some nights at the Griffin (downtown) are really good too.

-Eggworks/Egg & I. For the 2% of the people reading this who will wake up early enough to go eat a sitdown breakfast before getting over to the Rio, these two places serve up delicious artery-busting stuff. One's on Flamingo up near the 215 and the other's on Sahara.

I would go completely berserk if I didn't have a rental car fwiw. It's an absolute must if you're spending 10+ days.

Probably a stupid question, but is FTP still going to provide bonuses (i.e., 2012 seat for mincashing, FT/win bonuses)? I know Stars isn't providing any incentives this year, but the stuff is still all up on FTP's website

I would like some input/opinions on the following:

I am scheduled for 12 WSOP tournaments from June 18th through the Main Event. So from the 18th on my schedule is pretty much filled and the buy-ins for these are covered.

However, I am considering and most likely going out a couple weeks early (June 7th or 8th). My question is this; With a limited bankroll of approx $3k in that span(10 days) which would be of more value;

*playing as many smaller side Events(Venetians, GoldNugget.Binions,Ceasars etc) in those 10 days own dime ?

or

*grinding a lot of hours of 1/2 & 2/5 cash games ?

or

*put together a package in Market Place for those 10 days selling 60% or so of myself in more WSOP and higher Venetians ?

The ultimate goal is to get the best value with the best possibility for highest ROI. I realize this is impossible to gauge in such short samples/time frame but I'd still like your input..

I will most likely be staying in a poker house with friends and have a few days set aside away from poker to relax, sit by the pool, go out etc, so I just want to maximize and have the best plan possible for these 10 days.

Anyone got any tips on 24 hour fitness? Seems like I can get a one location month pass for $100, seems like a pretty big ripoff. Think they could be haggled down? What are the rules for bringing a guest? Optimally I'd like to be able to go to multiple locations and be able to bring a guest, I wouldn't want a long term deal with them since I probably won't be on the west coast/in the country after the summer.
