I don't think this is accurate. I fully support the president, and I will until I have reason not to. I wouldn't call myself a republican, we just happen to be travelling in the same direction at the moment.

The use of stats by the left and right are apples and oranges and the right is using a bunch of really putrid apples. It's not even close. The people who use it (the interest groups themselves vs. the actual administrations), the scope, the frequency, and the unapologetic misuse, distortions, and lies from the GOP are in a totally different league. It's the difference between looking to phrase things in a way that benefit your interest and being misleading vs. manufacturing lies on an industrial scale
My personal belief is the rhetoric of the left is more damaging, right now, than the rhetoric of the right. The left causes hatred and hurts the social fabric of the country. The right is just a little..uncaring. You think the good the left does outweighs the right. I do not. I believe the left has an actual chance to elect someone like a Bernie Sanders, who I think would be an absolute disaster. I know I previously said I kinda liked him, but after some time I realized I was very wrong.
I've never been so concerned about anything politically as I am with the left right now. The last time I felt like that was towards the right under Bush 2, term 2. Alarmed might be the better word.
