This is amazingly dumb. "By definition" a poorly sourced story has few sources or poor sources. The sources could be making it up--or not. The journalists are definitely not making it up.

We know what happened with the story. You should read about it instead of repeating the lie that the story was "made up."

Sorry you hate having your lies pointed out.

Sure, but the problem is they relied on 1 source and did not corroborate that source. Some of the claims by the source (ie that the Russian Fund was part of the Russian sate owned bank) would have been easily shown false if they followed their own editorial procedures. So no they really should not be given a pass for printing lies of other people.

Considering that the people responsible were let go, I don't think anyone is giving them a pass. CNN did the right thing, but gets zero credit. Other news outlets have published comparable stories, took forever to correct them, and never held anyone to account.

The trolls will never admit the obvious; that CNN firing people for not having good enough journalistic standards is a demonstration of credibility, not the opposite.

You were talking about whether the Journalist made it up or whether it was poorly sourced, not about CNN's response or that they allowed it to print to begin with and acting like the journalist were not the problem. You were giving them a pass.

My point is from the journalist perspective there is very little difference from something that poorly sourced (1 source and something easily shown false) and made up.

As for CNN, guessing Scaramucci hiring a high priced lawyer and libel laws had more to do with the response than anything.

No leftist tears can be derived from such simple honesty.

Unbelievable. Your ignorance here is breathtaking.

That is often the goal. To inflect pain and create hate. Sad.

When CNN has to admit that Trump's policies are working:

the world is most definitely not turning conservative. this is a minority government and it is losing support continuously. but gerrymandering and suppression are very powerful.

Losing support? Lol, Democrats have gotten their dicks kicked in continuously since 2010 except for the presidency. Republicans own both houses and now the presidency. Go look up how many seats Democrats have lost since 2010 in both houses, governorships, and let's not even mention the Supreme Court. It's an absolute joke. Conservatives are at the absolute height of their power not seen in a century. What planet are you living on?

I was pointing out wil's errors about the story.

There is obviously a HUGE difference between these two things. One is careless reporting and the other is fabrication.

I doubt it.

I'd place a bet here but I don't want the money tied up for too long. It's only a matter of time.
"European Union won't last forever."

Bold prediction, wil. Bold.

I like watching the meltdown. It's amusing.

It is not good for us in general that your side has gotten to this point.

Don't you remember all of the media stories on how Trump was a joke, he was doing poorly in the polls, he was never gonna win the primaries? Then he was never gonna beat Clinton, CNNs own polls had him down 15% the night before the election. Then pissgate, which was started by a troll on 4chan. Then the Comey testimony countdown, with Van Jones and a bunch of other nothingburger flippers saying this was going to be the beginning of his impeachment. They conveniently removed the countdown without warning or explanation when Comeys testimony became available before they aired it. Lol

Quote:
LOL none of these Trumpkins even know the basics of the Trump-Russia investigation/scandal
Yes we do. It's made out of whole cloth. It's completely fabricated. A myth. You tried to smear him and his campaign from day 1, and the more you tried, the more popular he became. He owned the media and their bias, blatant opinion-molding. Played them like a fiddle. So you all came up with this thing about russia, based on something he said about 'having a good relationship with Russia' early in the campaign. Its total nonsense, but because liberals are extremely credulous they will believe anything the media tells them so long as its against the big meanie who says mean things and looks like a big meanie.

Yet when the non-racist half black President with olive oil teleprompter voice assassinated by drone an American citizen without trial you didn't say ****. Why? Because your positions are not about facts, reality, the constitution, rights, tolerance or integrity. Not really. You want to live in a safe bubble of emotional coddling, and Obama allowed you to do that. Trump doesn't. This is why the whole world is turning conservative. People are desperate for integrity and truth, no matter how much it hurts. For all Trumps obvious faults he has at least followed through on a lot of his promises during his campaign, which is something I can't say about any President in my lifetime.
