The strongman (read Napoleon dick) kinship thing extends beyond Putin and is indeed worrisome. Sometimes it feels like we are in the early stages of the WWII build up except with the U.S. as an axis power instead. However, it's a shame that people need to be reminded that the nuclear weapons of the nuclear powers are in play to put that into context. Opinions of Putin are not nearly as important as the diplomatic status between countries.
Putin has now put his rep on the line, vowing retaliation in response to any further attacks in Syria. Given that Trump started out friendly to Russia, I wonder what would be going on by now if Hillary and her aggressive, "muscular" strategy against Russia had been implemented. I'm thinking operation
Hillary has Balls would have been a thorough disaster.
