@jodo- I found the same thing. I don't like ad carry in low rated solo because you're too dependant on your team... but I've beaten that to death itt

if mid/top/jungle is fed build a negatron/chain vest after your first big item, not dieing is pretty important and you've gotten 6 items with all dps many times (no defensive item in any game), something like qss is really important for late game or a ga when you are ahead

I absolutely agree with you.

If you are looking to carry a team as a solo, then you need to play a little more defensive, not take many chances. It's like folding QQ or even KK to an AI shove early in a tournament. Those chips mean a lot to you even if you think you are 55/45 EV in that spot, you still fold. You being alive and navigating the map is more important than a 55/45 in your favor in a one on one for instance.

I disagree w/ them, and I think that playing a champion that is inherently tanky instead of playing AD carry and going with a suboptimal build is better.

BB: yeah doublelift carries hard as fk, BUT he's not playing w/ a bunch of derps that have no concept of how to teamfight/position/initiate. even if you're fed as fk it can be really hard to do anything as an ad carry if ur team won't cooperate.

I don't think we are disagreeing. My statement was general, not just for carries, but the overall best strat to "carry" a low elo team is most likely playing a tank or tanky dps that just won't die. If you can play an AD carry with massive lifesteal, this is really the same concept, but you will usually need the QSS and some health as well to make sure you rarely die.

im not saying build more than 1 defensive item on an ad carry but the optimal ad build has a ga/banshees/qss in it by at latest 5th item (4th item for someone like vayne or kog)

it doesn't matter how good your peelers or your positioning is getting instagibbed late game by flash annie combo makes you kinda useless

My goal of reaching 1200 this week definitely isn't gonna happen. Even if I went on heater I'm just not getting in the volume I expected. Next week though, its happening.

It is very possible to carry really hard on an AD carry, I just find that it's alot harder, and doesn't happen as often.

And i'm also a little biased bcuz I like being able to be crazy and dominate. My favorite thing I do in my games ATM:

harass really hard from lvl 1, then:
-jungler comes and I go for double kill. I heal bait the top lane into fighting me. Thnx junglar!
OR
-I tower dive when pushing my giant minion wave. lvl 4 tower dive w/ heal is surprising effective. even if I die, I usually get FB and they lose a giant wave of gold/xp. Snowballing insues.

Shut up. You aren't 55/45 with pocket kangs, they are basically the best hand ever. If you lose you can just post on 2p2 about tournament hell and how you get the worst hands ever.
