More expensive doesn't necesarrily mean they are a better champ. There are some very good older charachters available. Being business they prob have the more popular champs listed at higher prices so price may not always reflect utility or w/e. Powerfull champs like Tryndamere for example are very affordable or within reach with minimal time investment.
The fact that the game promotes a equall playing field (offering gfood champs at low prices etc) where money =/= power is probably a major part of their success. U dont have to open the wallet unless u really want to. Im sure there re alot of cheaper solid champs.
Their fpp's are Ip's and the rewards program is not weighted at all towards those who have spent the most money or w/e but rather the time in game. I think thats whats so great about the game. It tries to balace everything to keep new player in and older player intersetd (new champs etc)
As far as gaining an advantage in game, Skill is what will set u apart. Practice and maybe study is what would be required to improve and hand it to those people opened their wallets for Victor(6300 ip)
