Yeah. We needed an AD carry and Graves is my only one. We got manslaughtered. Rumble had a whopping 46 CS at the end of the game and GP had like 60-70.

I could go on and rage pretty hard but I don't want to be the new weeez lol.

well idk the matchup personally but just today dl had a 10 minute rant about graves vs cait matchup saying its basicly unplayable for graves

Me and some friends starting playing this for the first time over the weekend. We have a pretty solid group of 5 players, all with some amount of experience across RTS/MMO/FPS games.

If someone is in a helpful, educational mood I'd really appreciate if you could give a breakdown on what our team should look like in terms of tank/ranged/carry/support/jungler etc. Also if anyone could direct me to some particularly helpful noob links, strats, etc. thatd be great.

Ive been playing Caitlyn so far. Found I have some trouble in the late early/mid stage (10-15 minute mark). She does very well if you get into late game obviously, but I've been thinking of trying some alternate item builds to kind of get me through that lull. Currently been going Doran's Blade/Berserker's Greaves/Phantom Dancer components/Bloodthirster components/Infinity Edge components. Thanks all.

The most common metagame is:

Top lane (1): Tanky DPS / Bruiser (Irelia, Akali, Garen, Lee Sin, Udyr, Warwick)
Mid Lane (1): AP Carry / Mage (Morgana, Brand, Kassadin, Sion, Cassiopeia)
Bot Lane (1): AD Ranged (Caitlyn, Ashe, Ezreal, Corki, Kog'maw, Graves)
Bot Lane (2): Support (Soraka, Janna, Alistar, Nunu, Sona)
Jungler (1): Udyr, Warwick, Jarvan IV, Trundle, Rammus, Skarner

Caitlyn should dominate the early/mid game because she outranges everyone, and she is worse late game than most other AD carries.

Generally Cait is seen as having a great early game and falling off a bit late game compared to other ranged AD carries. Her Range and traps make her a beast early game. I'm not sure why she falls off late game, personally i haven't seen it as an issue.

Thanks Kyle. When I said I was having a tough time I meant between like levels 9-13, not like right when the game beginSeems pretty clear that I'm just a noob at this point, hence the struggles.

She has low attack speed scaling and low base damage. Most other ADs who are bad early game have steroid damage/attack speed buffs that make them scale better late game. Range also becomes less of an advantage late game because there is less poking and more just straight up fighting/diving.

First ranked game w/ Akali didn't go so well. Matched up against Sivir mid, didn't know how to handle her range. Any tips on how to deal with ranged champs as Akali?

Her Q is pretty useless after the early-mid game as well.

Yeah thats the approach I took. I had her really low but ****ed up and got killed by her tower. From there it was pretty much downhill

Back down to ~1050. Hopefully tomorrow I can get more volume in.
