So Dyrus was playing a lot of Morde tonight. Said that he's pretty strong as long as you have a jungler that will let you get wraiths (to keep shield up I guess?).

Are there any people that want to grind normal games on NA? I'm level 22 and am getting bored of soloing normal games.

I generally play support on my ranked teams and in solo queue (annoying but it's a super important role that no one is good at), and I have to say I absolutely agree with doublelift: Taric is close to unplayable. His heal is laughably bad and his stun is vastly inferior to Alistar's Pulverize (to say nothing of Ali's Headbutt).

Taric's armor and ult don't make up for Alistar's kit whatsoever.

My buddy and I duo queue for a 13xx elo game. Immediately during champion selection, two of our teammates start arguing with each other. Apparently they both just played with each other, and they each think the other is awful. I lock in Jarvan first to solo top. One of the guys arguing picks third and immediately locks in Wukong and claims middle???? The other guy also locks in and claims middle with TF. Neither will relinquish their claim. So we have two idiots middle the entire game and they are bitching nonstop the entire game. We're left with a pub Alistar to solo bottom (my buddy is Skarner). I was 90% sure this was going to be a 20 minute surrender.

Comparing alistar and taric in a completely linear way based on one spell is so ******ed. Just to scratch the surface of things ignored:
Taric has a good armor debuff which is amazing for combos.
Tarics stun is ranged...

I'm not arguing taric is better... but when people argue like that it drives me ****ing crazy.

Ex: "Volibear is op because his bite does a lot of damage".
Orly genius? You just ignore everything else about a heroes kit, find one thing that seems a little off, and then draw a conclusion and state it as a fact? Ur doing it wrong. Ps: fffffuuuuuuu

Tarics stun is ranged so landing it is easy, alistars is melee, so you have to position well. Ali's ult can be used very poorly, it takes foresight to use it really effectively. Alis combo is one of the hardest to land in the game (w q). Also consider that bad headbutts are really detrimental to you team.

After all that, ali has a much higher skill cap, is a lot easier make mistakes on, and is taxed for mistakes more severly.

I used to Taric before I learned other supports and late game playing him is so bad and boring. His stun is on a ridic long cooldown, his heal isn't very effective outside of laning phase except in chase situations and his ultimate is probably very effective but it's sort of a behind the scenes type thing.

On the other hand in a big team fight late game Alistar is flash+Q ultimate initiating then headbutting the enemy on your carry. The aoe stun on Q is so effective. Also bad players get punted into towers by Alistar and that's fun.

I don't like Alistar at all, I think Punch dancer is right, for the few times iv'e played him he seems to have a higher skill cap.

Another thing I like about Ali's R is tower diving potential. Often times the enemy will be caught off guard early by this.

The last couple of times i played taric I would type "/all Dizzazzle!!" evreytime right after I land his E. A few fab Dizzazles and Watch the team start focusing the tank. Also, using ctrl+v to paste Dizzazle! is alot more time efficient. Otherwise taric does not get many haters mad at all.

That is also a problem with Taric, as he does not get the haters mad. Alistar gets the haters mad. Soraka can too, but to a lesser extent.

My last ranked I got a quadra. triple, then their sona was running. I had time while waiting on cd's as sona ran for her life to type "shh, just let it happen". I then jumped and killed the fk out of her monkey style. Made my night.

Also, I just realized it's ironic that I play wukong because monkeys are one of my biggest phobias(if u wanna call it a phobia with how dangerous they are)
