Oh ok sweet. I'll head to my local bank to see what they have.

For full game under normal time rake, it would be $200/hour, $10/half hour/player. So there is one benifit of private game. Also they were mississippi straddling on the button(not allowed elsewhere at hard rock) and making up some of their own rules.
This doesn't seem accurate. My roommate who was dealing that night said they were upset cause they couldn't straddle and do whatever they like which is the same as what one of the players told me. If they could do whatever they like and pay less in rake than normal I don't imagine they would've wanted to move the game to another location.

We were able to do btn straddle, run it twice, and an open to 125 from utg

Among many other things

I stand corrected. I know at least one of the supervisors is trying to get Mississippi straddle allowed for all games.

This dealer was average in speed, imo and was clocked at 25 hands per hour.
Of course this is including fills, counting the well, slow players tanking on bigger games, etc.
Honestly, I'd guess that 25 is a bit above average. Would love to see a detailed list on this (maybe I'll start to keep track) but all I can say off the top of my head is Oscar<The Field<late 20's girl with short reddish hair... Jessica I think?

At a bank, if you have a pulse and $50, you can get one at any bank...

Funny and Sad.
I've been logging a decent amount of hours at Derby Lane since the 1st and I've heard nothing about bad things about THR (have not played there yet).

Not at all the case at DL. Surprisingly well-mannered players. But I suppose that's the trade-off in terms of consistent good game availability. I just completely wasted Saturday night at a table filled with a bunch of nits that were tighter than Kelsey's nuts.

That is not the norm by any means. But still, I would imagine being able to put up with the bull**** at Hard Rock= greater profits.

Overheard Rose talking about a big tournament they were going to have (I think she said in September). $2100 buy-in and between $100k to $300k guaranteed (still being discussed).

How many players are usually on the 10-25? And avg stack? I'm debating on heading either up to THR or south depending on action/ game selection

Definitely not an internet kid. I flopped top 2 and she turned top set for a $1200 pot and she tipped like $60 lol.

She's some degen who admits to being a bad player and says she's just playing for luck. When she came to my 5/10 table she said she had just won $4k playing black jack.

She actually caused me to have a really rough day, but she seemed genuinely compassionate towards me & others at the table and gave me a kiss at the end of my session, lol.

The person you're talking about is Amanda -- Her nametag at derby reads ARAE i believe. She's hangouts w/ lots of the girls from THR and guys too. I remember seeing her w/ Rex alot a few years back -- but also Gina and rest of THR girls. She does know how to play and i've seen her play well. But i haven't been to THR since i've been kicked out in March so I can't attest to who they are talking about above
